It’s the next day, and at home, Carly kisses Jack in the foyer. He thanks her for this second chance. Now he has to get back to finding Valentin. She asks why finding him is so important, given that he’s been on the run for months. Jack says he has intel on Faison and Sidwell. Jack then takes off.
Is It Already Over For Carly and Valentin?
Carly is immediately startled when she turns around and finds Valentin standing there. He asks, “How long before you turn on me?” She scoffs that she wouldn’t. He accuses her of feeling guilty about Jack. She tells him it’s not guilt she feels, but close, as Jack loves her and she’s just using him.

They bicker about Jack, with Valentin noting the looks she was giving the WSB agent. She claims it was all an act and asks if he’s jealous, and he admits he is. They have been working together for months, and he’s developed feelings for her, claiming he knows her very well. She says, “And yet you think I would betray you. You don’t know me at all.”

Sonny is positive Jenz will come to realize he had nothing to do with Marco’s murder. Plus, if Sidwell kills him, nothing will stop Laura from going to the PCPD and the feds about him. Sidwell isn’t about to put himself in jail.

Nina Sends Willow Into a Panic
At Willow’s, she takes care of Drew in the living room and gloats about how everyone in Congress is welcoming her and is impressed that she wants to make things better instead of carrying out personal grudges.

Nina drops by in a panic. After insisting that Willow take Drew to the bedroom so he doesn’t hear them talk, she tells her daughter that she hasn’t been able to find any information on Valentin from Charlotte, and Jack could make the traffic cam footage of her public just to spite her. While she can’t be tried again, it will ruin her career.

Willow says Brennan is using Nina’s love for her and Charlotte against her, so they need to do the same to him. Nina notes there is only one person Brennan loves…

Nina later meets with Jack at the café. She says she hasn’t got anything out of Charlotte, and even if she does, she’ll never betray her to him. Before he can threaten her, she lets him know of a very good reason he will never release the footage he has of Willow.
How Is Jordan Doing?
Laura checks in with Curtis at the hospital. Jordan has pulled through surgery, but she is still critical and hasn’t woken up. Laura knows Jordan is a fighter, and it’s amazing he got her out of that wreck by himself. He flashes to Valentin helping him, but says nothing to Laura.

Sidwell walks off the elevator, and Laura spots him and goes to intercept him. He is there not just because Jordon is his COO, but also because she is a friend, and he has questions about the crash. Laura tells him Jordan is still critical, and Curtis can’t handle any questions right now.
Justine walks in, and Sidwell heads for her, but she tells him she doesn’t have time for him. She heads to check on Curtis, noting she’s not here to ask questions, but as Jordan’s friend. He thanks her.
Laura soon pulls Justine aside for a favor. She says Sidwell has questions about the accident, and she’s trying to keep him away from Curtis. Justine says she’ll handle Mr. Sidwell.

Justine speaks to Sidwell, who asks if the car crash is being investigated as attempted murder. She says there is no evidence that this wasn’t just an accident. Sidwell believes the person who targeted Jordan also murdered his son, and that person is Sonny.
Curtis and Laura continue talking, and Laura asks whether the car wreck wasn’t an accident and whether someone targeted Jordan because of her connection to Sidwell. Curtis is certain it was an accident and recalls Jordan taking her eyes off the road and then swerving to avoid an oncoming car.
Meanwhile, Justine assures Sidwell there is no evidence connecting Marco’s case to Jordan’s accident, nor that Sonny is involved with either. Sidwell isn’t deterred and believes his asking Jordan to use her old PCPD connections regarding his son’s murder investigation may have gotten back to Sonny via one of his moles.
In the Show’s Final Moments
At home, Molly tells Cody she based Casey on him and, initially, on everything that annoyed her about him. But when she got to know him, so she gave their characters the happy ending she never thought they’d get. Cody climbs over to her and kisses her.

At the hospital, Justin tries to assure Sidwell that Jordan’s accident was just an accident, and Marco’s case is still ongoing. The PCPD is doing everything it can, but they won’t jump to conclusions that could allow Marco’s real killer to escape.
Sidwell eventually leaves, and Justine calls Sonny and says they need to meet face-to-face.
Meanwhile, Curtis tells Laura that the other driver never stopped to check on them, and they lost so much time because of it. Plus, it took the ambulance an hour to get there. He fears Jordan could lose her life because of the wasted time.
At the café, Jack makes it clear he doesn’t like threats. Nina says it’s not a threat. She notes that, should the traffic footage surface, Carly will realize he was the one holding on to it. The lack of footage turned the tide and put Michael in the hot seat. Carly would never forgive her for harming Michael by letting his reputation be smeared and being the town’s main suspect in Drew’s shooting.

At home, Willow delivers another dose of drugs to Drew and feels bad for her mother having to betray Charlotte. However, she thinks she might be able to make it easier for her mom.

Finally, an upset Valentin tells Carly that their sleeping together was a mistake, and she agrees. They agree to keep everything strictly business between them moving forward. Valentin storms up to the attic, and a frustrated Carly flashes back to their night of sex and passion.
