There’s no question right now that General Hospital‘s Willow is planning on framing Nina. After having her mom give Drew an injection of his “treatment” without gloves, she finally confessed on Monday that yes, she did, indeed, try shooting and killing her husband. And despite the mountains of evidence leading that way, Nina seemed truly shocked!
So why did Willow confess? And what does she plan on doing with that syringe with Nina’s fingerprints all over them? The immediate answer would be that Willow uses it to blackmail her mom into keeping quiet about the shooting. “Tell on me, and I’ll tell everyone you’ve been helping drug Drew and keeping him paralyzed.” But that would be a dangerous game.

If people knew Drew was being drugged, he’d eventually be saved and be able to tell everyone who was really behind it. The only way to get away with that claim would be if Drew was dead… and Willow finally just killed him. Then she could tell her mom that if she said a word, Willow would turn the tables, produce evidence that Nina was poisoning Drew and likely killed him.
It wouldn’t be a leap to frame her for the shooting, too. After all, Nina’s been messing with evidence from that night, even if it was to save her daughter. And just like that, Willow could get rid of Drew and have a patsy in place to get her off the hook for everything she’s been doing.
It would be ice cold to do to her own mother, but Willow could justify it to herself by saying she’s doing all this for her kids. After all, that seems to have worked in her mind so far! No matter what she’s planning, it’s clear Willow’s ready to frame and use her mom for her own ends. We just aren’t sure quite how far she’d go yet.
Is she just planning on blackmailing Nina into helping her, or is there something far more sinister at work here? When it comes to Willow and her kids, it could go either way.
