Stephanie’s Finally Rescued, But the Damage May Already Be Done — Plus, EJ’s In Seriously Hot Water
Today on Days of Our Lives, Stephanie and Jeremy are rescued, Rafe demands answers from EJ and Salem has a lot of apologizing to do.

Picking up from Friday, Cat ratchets up her distraction by planting a kiss right on EJ. It’s enough to set EJ’s heart racing and pull her right back in for an even more passionate one! They pull back with visible effort and Cat claims to remember kissing him in the hospital back in Italy and it triggering her passion. You know, when he wasn’t really conscious…
Luckily, EJ’s into it! (So much problematic here.) But then they both get texts. Rafe types that they got Stephanie, and Rolf writes that he moved Lexie. Missions(s) accomplished!
Jeremy and Stephanie Are Rescued!
Alex throws open the door in Jeremy and Stephanie’s room, sees his supposed nemesis cradling an unconscious Steph and throws him out of the way. Stephanie wakes up to Alex rescuing her, but doesn’t manage to say a word before he decks poor Jeremy.
Rafe, meanwhile, bursts into Lexie’s pod room and slides it open to discover… Nothing. It’s empty. But then he hears the fellas yelling in the next room and rushes over to pull Alex away long enough for Stephanie to tell them who’s really behind it all.

As Paulina’s trying to bolster Kayla’s spirits, Alex brings Stephanie out of the elevator! She gets gowned up and in a hospital bed in record time, with Kayla sitting by her side, telling her how loved she is. Stephanie looks utterly haunted and thinks back to kissing Owen.
Rafe brings Jeremy up to get help and tells Paulina he found one of Dr. Rolf’s empty pods. Then he makes a beeline to the DiMera mansion to demand answers. Paulina tries calling EJ to get her own answers, but he’s a bit busy fending Rafe off.
Owen’s Captured
Steve and Brady spot Owen outside his family’s mortuary, so Steve leaps over to put him in a chokehold. Brady watches calmly while Steve tries killing the man, then finally decides he should step in and stop.
They walk Owen in to Jada for an official arrest and Paulina calls Steve to say Stephanie’s rescued. Before he goes, Steve tells Brady he did his dad proud (Which makes sense with what’s coming next!) and asks him to stick around and see if there’s anything else he can get out of Owen.
Brady helps himself to a SPD desk and gets Owen to admit Dr. Rolf hired him with no trouble at all. Brilliant!
Stephanie’s Struggling
Steve and Jada rush to the hospital and he breaks down as he embraces a visibly relieved Stephanie. Jada moves in next to tell Stephanie how much she loves her, then goes to talk to Jeremy.
Eventually, Alex leaves Stephanie alone with her parents, at which point, Stephanie, barely holding it together, has to calm her DAD down as he blames himself. “I thank you for everything that you did to protect me.” It’s done and over, Owen’s captured and it’ll never happen again.
Is Jeremy Still Leaving Salem?
Jada drops into Jeremy’s room while he’s on the phone letting Julie know what’s up. They get through the pleasantries and Jada jumps right to the “huge apology” part of the talk.

Alex, as we guessed, visits Jeremy next! But there’s less punch-y, more apology this time. But Jeremy just laughs in Alex’s face when he offers the reward. “I don’t want your damn money.” OK, but… take it. When Alex asks if Jeremy’s still leaving town, though, he isn’t so sure.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Brady has a lovely chat with Owen, who claims that coming back to town was so triggering, how could he help getting obsessed again? He’ll never be over Stephanie! (Well, we guess she just got her nemesis.)
Alex gets back to Stephanie and sits with her, promising that she’s stronger than anyone he knows. Stephanie sobs a little as she asks him to keep telling him that, her mind already going back to the room. She gasps, pulling back to the present and begs Alex to hold her.
Rafe shows EJ a photo he took of the empty pod, and when EJ won’t answer any questions, Rafe puts him under arrest. Stephanie was found in his secret lab. As he’s going out, he yells at Cat to call Rita!
