Kristen’s pacing around Rachel’s room as she and Brady wait for Dr. Gregory so she can demand Rachel be released. Kristen shows off the latest Sophia note. They can’t keep Rachel from the teen, Dr. Gregory’s giving Brady/Sarah relationship advice — she has had it!

Brady tries tamping down some of Kristen’s extremes, but he’d like if there were more guardrails with Sophia. Rachel finally gets back from yoga to happily ask if her parents are there to take her home — and Dr. Gregory sees herself out!

Brady hems and haws, then he and Kristen bicker until Rachel yells at them to stop. Kristen seems to realize something and rushes out, telling Rachel she has to stay there for now.

What Is Sophia Going to Do to Holly?

Sophia’s scrolling through Holly’s very public social media, forming grand plans of revenge for posting pictures of her and Tate. She watches a video of Ari and Holly posting rush “tips” and showing off supplements and gets a little too thoughtful when she mentions Holly choking on her supplements…

Dr. Gregory drops in to check on Sophia, where the teen hands her a note asking to see and apologize to Holly.

Can Brady Calm Rachel Down?

Ari walks in on Tate and Holly in bed in her dorm room, then hurries right back out. Ah, college. Holly doesn’t find it as amusing as Tate, and his attempt to tempt her back to bed is cut short when Dr. Gregory calls.

The doc thinks Sophia’s request is good, so Holly goes on over with Tate. They drop in on Rachel first, just as she’s demanding to know why Daddy won’t let Mommy take her home. Tate sticks around while Holly goes to see Sophia.

Rachel launches into her next tirade about not being allowed to see Sophia, so Tate promises to visit more often with Holly.

Will Holly Forgive Sophia?

Holly’s all attitude with Sophia, while the doc facilitates the note passing. Sophia claims she’s so sorry and asks for forgiveness. Holly all but rolls her eyes: “I forgive you.” Then she gets to the part of the note where Sophia says she should be sorry for lying about being with Tate and making her think she had a shot with him.

Holly seems genuinely sorry as Sophia and Dr. Gregory has them shake hands. Sophia puts her pad on Holly’s bag, then “accidentally” knocks it over and while they’re picking it back up, Sophia pockets her supplements.

Will Rafe Realize Gabi’s Divorce Was Faked?

Rafe gets home with the news that the DNA remains confirm that Stefan’s dead. (Or they’re Jake’s remains, whichever.) Gabi’s sad, but numb at this point. But Rafe figures what the heck, why not make things worse and tells her that Stefan never wanted to leave her to begin with. Vivian kidnapped him to keep Stefan from her.

That shakes Gabi up all over again, especially when she realizes he probably never even signed the divorce papers. So Rafe asks to take a look at them. It looks like Stefan’s signature, but Vivian is a master forger (right, Philip?) so Rafe takes them to be analyzed.

Ari drops in next, still traumatized over walking in on Tate and Holly and gets the Stefan news. But she’s moved on and she’s determined not to grieve over Valentine’s Day in Miami! Ari’s surprised she’s going back to where she walked in on Stefan with Chloe, but she’s going to be strong.

In the Show’s Final Moments

Back at the mansion, Rafe walks in on Kristen toasting to Stefano’s urn. He asks about Dimitri and EJ, but neither are there. And he just ignores her asking again if he wants to team up. Rafe wants to see EJ’s “Get Well” card from Stefan, but we all saw him crumple it up and toss it. Kristen, meanwhile, takes news of Stefan’s death in stride. “Death is all around us in this family.” And… rebirth?

Sophia dumps out Holly’s supplements, all while insulting her former friend for everything she can think of. Then she replaces them with hers, which are conveniently in a tin and promises Holly soon “won’t have a care in the world.” (Honestly, we could probably all use those — properly prescribed of course — these days…)
