Shirtless Chase is out for a run and bumps into Willow, who is in her own revealing running gear. They chat about Phoebe, and Chase reveals he and Brook Lynn want to adopt the girl. He says they haven’t had any luck finding Phoebe’s family and were hoping they could count on her again with social services. However, he does fear it might look like they are using their Quartermaine privilege to work the system.

What Are Ric and Ava Up To?
At Ava’s gallery, Ric swears to his gun-wielding brother that he has not betrayed him and wouldn’t risk jeopardizing the good place they’ve gotten to. Sonny says he’s had Ethan following him, and Ethan explains he saw them talking and then Ava delivered a message to Jenz. Ava insists that is not what happened.

As Ethan leads Ava out, she yells to Ric to tell Sonny what they were really doing! Ethan takes Ava out to his car, and she asks what he’s going to do to her. He says that’s up to Sonny.

Back in the gallery, Ric tells his brother to open his briefcase, which he does, and Ric explains that Ava was helping him buy a piece of art for Liz. It’s by one of her favorite artists, and the sale wasn’t on the open market, as the owner needed to sell it as it was part of a nasty divorce and contested estate. This was the only way he could afford it.

Ric tells his brother that if this is going to work, he has to learn to trust him. Sonny says trust needs to be earned, so where do they go from here? Ric says if he wants Ethan to keep track of him to make him more comfortable, he’s fine with that. He wants this to work, and he thinks Sonny does too.

In Ethan’s car, Ava tells him what she and Ric were really up to, and that Jenz is only her friend. He suggests she find better friends.
Back in the gallery, Sonny doesn’t understand why Ric didn’t tell him. Ric says it was because his brother can’t stand Ava, and he wanted to surprise Liz. Sonny puts his gun away, and Ric is sorry their history would make him think the worst of him. Sonny says the whole situation with Sidwell has him not thinking clearly.
Lucas Senses Liz Is Troubled
At the Hospital, Lucas asks Liz about her big romantic weekend with Ric. He can see something is wrong, and she watches as Rocco walks by. Liz assures Lucas that she and Ric are fine, everything is fine!
Liz runs over to talk to Rocco, notes he’s almost done with his community service, and everyone will miss him. She checks over his hand, which has healed, but he is still having pain now and then. She explains it’s likely the nerves, and to feel free to come see her if it continues. She lets him know he can count on her for anything.

Rocco takes off, and Liz gets back to Lucas, who wants her to spill what is going on. She says she found out something upsetting, and it’s not her story to tell. She’s just concerned for those involved.
Dante Confronts Lulu
Dante shows up to see Lulu at her place, and he says he just found out Rocco, not Jason, shot Cullum, and that she’s known all along. He tells her about the blood on the gun, and recalls Rocco being in the hospital that night. He realized Jason took the fall for Rocco, and Lulu confirms it.
Lulu says she didn’t tell him to protect Rocco, and “Nathan” told her not to bring him in. Dante is floored that his supposed bestie knew. Lulu feared he’d want to go by the book, and they’d been there before, and it didn’t work out for Michael.

Lulu cries she didn’t have time to think that night, and she hated lying to him, but she had to protect Rocco from the WSB. Dante gets that, but he doesn’t have to protect their son from him. If he figured out the truth, then the WSB will too.

Carly Gives Charlotte Some Advice
Charlotte drops by Carly’s with books for Donna, which is really an excuse to see her dad. Carly says her dad had to step out to deal with Jack. Charlotte says, “About time!” She can’t wait to be done with Brennan and tell Nina what she can do with her Crimson internship.

Carly advises against it, as they still aren’t out of danger, and she needs to lie low and live her life as normal. Carly warns her that her father’s enemies will use her to get to him, like Jack used Joss to get to her. Carly can’t go into details about Joss, but Charlotte agrees that her dad’s enemies would use her to get to him.
Is Jack Done For?
At Willow’s, Nina stabs Jack in the back with the syringe. She immediately cries that she didn’t mean for this to happen, as he drops to the floor. Valentin tells Nina, “Nice shot!”

Valentin asks what was in the syringe, and she sobs that it’s Drew’s medication. They turn Jack over, but he won’t wake up. Nina makes a call, tells someone to get here fast, and then tells Valentin he needs to go! Valentin checks Jack over and realizes he’s not faking. As he is rushing out, Valentin says, “Let me know if he dies!”
As Nina sobs over Jack, Drew, in the other room, is able to move his fingers!

What’s Next for Carly and Valentin?
Valentin returns to Carly’s, and she’s already sent Charlotte off. He tells her that Nina double-crossed him. He reports that Jack expressed concern for Joss and said he didn’t know where she was. Carly insists she’s lying, and they have to get him to tell them where she is. Valentin says that might be difficult, as Jack might not make it through the night.

Valentin tells her what happened and that he was the intended target of Nina’s jab, not Jack. Now Jack is flat on his back, and Nina claims it was Drew’s meds she injected him with. Carly admits she feels sorry for Jack, but Valentin says there was never going to be a happy ending for Jack.
Who’s Snapping Photos and Why?
Back at Willow’s, the paramedics arrive to take Jack to the ER. Nina follows in her car, leaving Drew all by himself. He begins to slowly gain more movement in his hand.

Soon, at the hospital, Liz asks Nina to tell her what happened with Jack. Nina says they were talking, and he collapsed. She doesn’t know much more; he’s always so high-strung. Liz asks whether she should call Willow for her or if she needs to be with Drew. Nina then panics as she remembers Drew.

Out in the park, Willow offers to make a low-key, off-the-record phone call for him and Brook Lynn. He thanks her again, and she says this is the least she can do for him, and she knows he’ll be an amazing dad. As she touches his arm, someone takes photos! They hug, and Willow gets a frantic call from Nina, who tells her, in code, what went down and that Drew is alone without his meds…
Back at home, Drew reaches for a nearby phone…
In The Show’s Final Moments
Dante tells Lulu that moving forward, they need to decide how to protect their son together, not her and “Nathan.” He tells his ex that she convinced their son to lie to him because he can’t be trusted. He doesn’t know how they come back from this.

Charlotte arrives home and finds Rocco waiting outside. He says his parents are in there fighting about him.
At the gallery, Ric tells Sonny that instead of running him out of town, or worse, he gave him the chance to explain, so that counts for something. Sonny wants him to be the brother he’d never question the loyalty of. Ric says, “Like Jason? I want that too. I think we can get there.”
Sonny thinks he should call Ethan to let Ava go, but Ric says let her stew a little longer. They both chuckle.
In the car, Ava tells Ethan the world doesn’t revolve around Sonny, and she doesn’t have to explain herself to him. Ethan says he could be an asset to her, but she doesn’t need his help or to be mansplained to by a boy. (Oh, they are so going to get it on!)
At home, Carly says, if Jack doesn’t wake up, how will they find Joss? Valentin says they’ve got more problems as Cullum is now in charge of the local office, which will make him even more dangerous.
At the hospital, Liz tells Nina that Jack has been stabilized and is being moved to the ICU. They have also notified the WSB, and Jack is in good hands.

Liz then runs into Lucas, and he tells her hopefully that the labs will reveal what happened to Jack. Liz ponders, ” What are the odds of two healthy men having a stroke three months apart in the same house?”
In the park, Chase is still working out when Brook Lynn texts him from Pheobe. Someone takes another photo… (Hmm, so Chase is being targeted?)

At home, Drew reaches for the phone, only for Willow to arrive in time to stop him from dialing. She says nobody can be trusted to keep an eye on him except her.
On the next episode of General Hospital, Justine questions Isaiah, Lulu has a meeting with Britt to set things straight, Danny asks Rocco for help, and Dante tells Nathan that his involvement with his son ends now.
