Leo tries calling Javi, but has to leave a message. Next he tries Marlena, but it’s also voice mail, and he can’t stop thinking about Dimitri.

Can Leo Move Past Dimitri?

Dimitri’s putting something together for Stefano’s memorial service, but still has time to insult Gwen. And she’s happy to return the favor, while asking about being Peter’s accomplice. Dimitri claims it’s not him. The only person they know in Alamainia is Vivian. And she hates the Von Leuschners and Dimitri.

But then Leo shows up as they trade more threats, determined to get Dimitri out of his system. Gwen takes a delighted seat to take in the show as Dimitri tries getting a jump on things by saying they’re both victims of Gwen and he never stopped loving Leo and — Leo yells at him to stop, so he can read off Dimitri’s bad qualities. “Oh my God,” Gwen groans, “we’re going to be here all night.”

Will Brady and Sarah Keep Going?

Belle and Brady enjoy breakfast together out in the square and catch up. (Must not be in the same arctic stretch as the rest of us.) But then Sarah pushes Victoria by in the stroller (again, not even a jacket), and Belle takes her leave. Alone, Sarah tells Brady about how clear Kristen was in wanting her to stay away from him and Rachel. And she might be right, at least for Rachel’s mental health.

Plus, Marlena’s worried, Maggie’s worried, Xander’s worried… “What business is this of his?” Brady demands. It’s not! Except Sarah admits Xander might be kind of right in his idea that she’s dating Brady to get back at him. Oh… Either way, he really, really likes her, and she likes him, too.

Is Rachel Ready to Testify?

Kristen wants to talk to Rachel ahead of talking to the judge. She’s not so sure about Bayview, especially after that Sophia mess. (She doesn’t know the half of it.) But Rachel’s happy with Dr. Gregory and Belle shows up shortly after.

She walks Rachel through what to expect — the judge, her attorney, Belle, mom and dad will all meet. And maybe Uncle EJ. Then Rachel and Kristen will give their testimony and hopefully the judge will decide to drop it all. But Belle can’t promise what the decision will be and Rachel thinks she could go to prison.

Belle promises that won’t happen, and she’s confident things will go the way she plans. Kristen sends Rachel out to yell at Aunt Belle for being too honest. Rachel gets back mid fight and Belle heads out.

Marlena Is Honest With Xander

When Xander arrives for his appointment, Marlena tells him she can’t see him there anymore. But she’s not dropping him, she’s just returning to the hospital. But if he hurts a member of her family again, she will drop him cold. He apologizes for what he did to Brady, and they get down to business.

She asks what made him snap, and it, clearly, was the divorce papers, so maybe he should apologize to Brady for taking it out on him. When Marlena suggests he also took it out because he’s upset about Brady and Sarah, Xander makes it clear that subconsciously, at least, they might be together to stick it to him.

In the Show’s Final Moments

Marlena tells Xander to just focus on being the best father to Victoria, and stay out of Brady and Sarah’s business. Maybe pick up some activities and with some work, he can separate from his ex. Xander promises he will do the work.

Kristen finds Sophia’s note to Rachel saying, “Wait until you hear from me.” She loses it when she realizes who wrote it.

After Leo lists off Dimitri’s flaws, Dimitri says that he and Leo have the same bad qualities. Leo agrees, because Dimitri brings them out in him. Javi makes him better. Leo runs out and Dimitri blames this all on Gwen. “I can make you disappear just the way you made me disappear.” She has her own plan, though, and the second he’s out of the room makes a call to one Vivian Alamain.
