Maybe the savviest of General Hospital fans could have spotted the twinkle in Jacinda’s eye and predicted at once that Jacinda would be sticking around for the long haul. But Paige Herschell never dreamed that the sex worker Nina hired to help set up Drew a million plot twists ago would still be in Port Charles 12 months later. So the actress was understandably bowled over to realize that she’d reached her first Jacinda-versary.
“Holy smokes!” she shared via Instagram. “It’s been one year since Jacinda was introduced on General Hospital. I’m so grateful to this show for the work!
“Thank you to the amazing fans and the awesome cast and crew!” she added. “One year! Holy moly! Jacinda — you continue to surprise me.”
And delight us. Viewers were quick to shower Herschell with praise, saying that they love the unexpected Jacinda/Michael pairing. She was originally just supposed to be his alibi in Drew’s shooting, but as we all know, that turned into something much more. The couple — or “Macinda” to their shippers — “are carrying General Hospital right now,” enthused _dylan.phan.
