General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may face a coma crisis. Will Drew end up stuck in limbo after Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) injection?

At the end of the January 19 episode, Willow pulled off another shocking move.

Drew was making plans to take a vacation with Willow when she suddenly jabbed him in the neck with a syringe.

Drew was left writhing on the floor in shock before he lost consciousness.

A satisfied Willow insisted it would all work out, but she was obviously predicting it would work out for HER!

Many GH fans have been rooting for Drew to get killed off, but will the show really just end Drew like this?

It’s tough to believe viewers will finally get their wish – at least not at this point in the story.

That said, it does seem like Willow truly jabbed Drew. The show often does fake-outs, but there are good reasons to believe Willow’s actions are the real deal.

General Hospital spoilers for January 20 point to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) racing to someone’s rescue, so a patient will probably be wheeled in soon enough.

Plus, Tuesday’s preview video shows Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) talking about Drew getting his karma.

We also know that in the January 21 episode, Lucas will deliver some crushing news.

That could be about Drew’s condition after Lucas and Liz work on him at the hospital.

Lucas might admit Drew’s in a coma if he ultimately falls into one thanks to whatever Willow gave him.

Of course, Willow won’t want anyone suspecting she’s responsible for Drew landing in this predicament.

Willow is indeed behind the injection, but it may look like Drew simply had some complications related to his previous injuries depending on what she injected him with.

It’s even possible Willow pumped Drew full of ketamine to make him seem like an addict based on his previous drugging.

Regardless, Willow might have to call 911 to pretend she’s an emotional wreck over her husband’s sudden medical crisis.

If a visitor pops up at Drew’s house, that could perhaps cause Willow to dial for paramedics faster than she anticipated.

Even if Willow wanted Drew deceased, his medical team may manage to keep him alive – albeit in a coma.

Willow could still get Drew out of the way for a while, and there might be some attempts by multiple characters to finish the comatose character off!

Regardless, Lucas’ updates may not be crushing for Willow, but they could certainly be crushing for Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) since she’s already lost one parent.

Scout may wind up worried that Drew will face a grim fate like Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and need the comfort of her family while she’s waiting for Drew to awaken.
