It’s been a couple of months since we’ve seen Anna turn up on the canvas but that’s about to change. It’s nothing new for Finola Hughes to take extended breaks from the ABC soap but given what one of her castmates just teased, we’ll get answers as to the character’s wellbeing soon.
Chris McKenna (Brennan) took to his official X account to give fans something to look forward to all while replying to a fan who misses Anna. “Finola is on her way back!” the actor revealed.
Of course, her fans couldn’t have been happier and many jumped beneath the post to share their feelings. Leslie B. expressed, “That’s the best GH news you could give me, Chris. I’ve missed Anna/Finola so much,” as Irishgirls stated, “This is fantastic news. Anna is GH for me. Something is missing without Anna. BTW, I’d like to see Jack help rescue Anna. The other guy can stay in the attic.” And KellyMcPoland deemed the “superb” news the “winning tweet of the week.”

If you need a refresher, the last time we saw Anna on our screens was in February when Felicia, Mac and Emma spoke with Dr. Laurant outside the room where she was being kept. Though the doc informed that Anna was very fragile, once they got in to see her, she begged them to get her out of there and warned she’d been kidnapped and Faison was still out there. In the end, Emma was brought to tears and Anna was sedated by a nurse.
So, fans, it shouldn’t be long before things take a turn for Anna. Will she be rescued? Will she escape? Or will Faison come back and deliver on the warnings Anna was trying to relay to her loved ones? Stay tuned!
