EJ Threatens Liam Into a ‘Favor’ and Cat and Rafe Start to Wonder If Someone *Besides* Jeremy Kidnapped Stephanie

Ari shakes Holly awake for the Kappa Midnight Mixer, but just gets snapped at for her trouble. Then Holly gets a notification about Stephanie, worries about her internship instead of her boss and Ari leaves in disgust. Well this is off to a great start.
Maggie Tries Helping Holly
Maggie gets off the phone with Mike, saying she hopes Stephanie and Jeremy are both found safe and sound. Um, is her smile optimism or “I told you so”? Either way, it fades when Holly shows up and starts sobbing on her.

Holly lays everything out and says she almost feels like when she was on drugs. But she’s not taking anything. Just birth control and supplements! (So… how about trying to stop something just in case, Holly?) Maggie’s supportive but at a loss, so she urges her to get to the doctor and talk to Tate.
Is Philip to Blame for Stephanie?
Gabi arrives at Philip’s door, but he’s not at all dressed and more than a little distracted by Stephanie’s kidnapping. Gabi understands if he wants to be alone, but she wants to be there for him.

Philip fills her in on Stephanie’s last kidnapping back when he was dating her and got her mixed up in the DiMera feud. (And that’s probably a flashing sign that you-know-who actually nabbed her again.) So Gabi pulls him out to get him to stop blaming himself.
Can Cat and Rafe Find Anything?
Rafe and Cat take a break from EJ to join in the hunt for Stephanie. They decide someone with inside knowledge of the hospital evaded cameras, so clearly it was Jeremy since his dad was Chief of Staff!
The cops scoured the hospital, but it all came up clean, so the Dynamic Duo go over the possible escapes. They just hit dead ends until Rafe gets lab results back on the sedative: It’s not anything found in the US. So how, they wonder, does Jeremy get his hands on it? (He doesn’t!) That seems more like the M.O. of someone like EJ.
But then they move back to EJ and wonder what he hid before they searched the lab. Cat gets a hit from Interpol on the guy who hired Liam: Klaus Mueller, last seen in Alamainia. Aha! But first, Cat has to pick up Felicity, so we’ll get back to that later.
EJ Has a Job for Liam
Speaking of Klaus, EJ finds Liam in the square and takes the time to harass him. As furious as EJ is, he warns Liam that Abe’s his real problem. If he drops Liam’s tutoring, the young dad goes back to jail. But EJ can use his lawerly powers to keep him in the program and out of prison, and in return, Liam just has to tell EJ immediately if the guy who hired him (Klaus) ever shows his face again (he will). And with that, he’s dismissed.

Shaken, Liam runs to Small Bar, and Ari shows up not long after. The sparks fly instantly, buoyed by Ari’s fake ID. But then she sees her mom and Philip show up and freaks. Liam’s aghast. “How old are you?!” Good question! But that doesn’t stop him from locking lips to hide Ari, then rushing her out!
Philip is happy to see Gabi wearing the bracelet he gave her. “I wear it all the time.” (You mean in the hours since you got back from Miami?) Gabi then tells Philip that she’s not sure they’ll ever know if Stefan actually divorced her before dying or not.
Will Dimitri Prove He’s Innocent?
Leo’s a bit freaked out over in Alamainia that Ivan tried to kill them, but it’s all part of Dimitri’s plan. He took photos of just about everything and everyone there and he knows now how to get into the complex — alone. He’s ISA trained, after all, and Leo is… Leo!
That just worries Leo more, so he keeps pushing until Dimitri lets him come along. So much for training.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Liam apologizes out in the square, but Ari’s just glad he got her out of there. They exchange numbers, she kisses him on the cheek, thanks him and leaves Liam smiling.
More: Alison Sweeney’s son turns 21!
Dimitri and Leo come up with a plan, which is when Dimitri drops the bomb that the ISA already knows what they’re doing and where they are. But there’s no extradition in Alamainia, so they’re safe. And if they can’t prove anything, “Alamainia is our forever home!” Yay…
