Today on The Young and the Restless, Adam and Nick announce their departure for Vegas, the Abbotts are appalled by Jack, and Victor is left fuming.

Chelsea drops by Crimson Lights and immediately tells Sharon how freaked out she is about Adam heading to Vegas with Nick. This could unearth a lot of Adam’s memories. Sharon agrees, but she’s confident that he’s strong enough to cope. He owes that strength to Chelsea.
Nonetheless, Chelsea is still concerned that that Adam’s self-destructive streak could return. They chat about how slow Mariah’s recovery has been. We wouldn’t know anything about that because it’s all been offscreen.
Adam and Nick Update Victor
At the ranch, Victor is smelling the roses when Nick and Adam arrive to announce they’re headed to Vegas, sure that Matt may have been in touch with Adam’s old friend, Riza. Adam assurese his concerned Pops that he’s strong enough to face his past. There is nothing he wouldn’t do to protect the family.

A proud Victor urges them to be cautious. Nick assures him they will be, but they can’t have a repeat of what happened. He’s not going to hand Matt off to security. This has to end. His father agrees.
Victoria joins them to announce she’s headed to Milan to pursue Plan B. Nick didn’t know there was a Plan A. His sister explains that Victor abducted Jack. Nick’s shocked, but Victor waves it off. Victoria agrees with Daddy, but her brothers continue to express doubts.
The Abbotts Rush to Save Jack
At the marina, Diane continues worrying to Billy and Kyle about Jack being in Patty’s clutches. Who knows what kind of shape he could be in? A captain pulls up with a boat ready.
On the yacht, Jack stops the makeout session with Patty, but only briefly. He can’t resist her. They end up out of the bed and up against the porthole to do some more undressing. Jack, a full, passionate participant now, takes Patty back to bed.
After sex, Jack can’t believe it happened. One minute, he’s trying to escape, and the next, he’s tearing off Patty’s clothes. She tells him to live in the moment and be one with the universe. They hear a rapping at the door and Diane bursts in. Her jaw drops.
By the time Billy and Kyle catch up, Jack’s scrambling to dress himself. Kyle covers his eyes as Diane screams at her husband that they thought Victor had him locked in a cargo hold and his life was in danger. She doesn’t even know how to process this!!
Nikki Visits Traci
Nikki shows up at the Abbott manse to fill Traci in on Victor abducting Jack. She got him to admit he has him on a yacht with some woman. This sounds pretty low to Traci. If Victor plans to use this woman to seduce her brother, she’s sure it will fail. The whole thing is absurd because Jack would never stray from Diane.
Nikki isn’t sure how she can ever forgive her husband for what he’s done this time. After some tea and venting, Nikki calms down. Billy calls Traci to say they’ve located Jack and he’s unharmed, “At least, so far.” Nikki’s thrilled, knowing Victor will be furious.

Nikki Delivers News
Nikki arrives at the ranch and announces that Victor has been lying to her face. She adds that his scheme has failed. The Abbotts have freed Jack. Her husband refuses to believe this and walks out to investigate. Nikki declares her husband deserves to have this blow up in his face.
Adam and Nick inform her that they are chasing Matt to Vegas. Nick asks his mom not to kill Victor while they are left alone. His mom is making no promises and strides off. Victoria has never seen her so angry. Nick says their dad brought it on himself. He’s not thrilled Victoria is going to Milan either and suggests she stop trying so hard to be like their father.
The Final Scenes
Adam goes home to throw some things in a bag. Chelsea reminds him of how much is at stake and makes him promise to stay safe and not let the past get under his skin.
At Crimson Lights, Nick tells Sharon that getting Matt out of their lives is the only way this can end. She makes him promise to be safe and they hug. His face looks like thunder.
On the yacht, Patty tells Jack it was magical as Billy drags her out and Kyle follows. Diane closes the door and Jack seems poised to try and say something, but his wife hauls off and slaps him soundly across the face.

At the ranch, Nikki lectures Victor about his heinous behavior where Jack is concerned. He grunts that he did it for their family. She counters that he did it for his own damn ego. When she says she may not be able to forgive him, he turns on her. “You think I give a damn if you can forgive me? Get out! Now!” he bellows.
