Days of Our Lives Exclusive: As Kristen Faces the Prospect of Jail Once Again, Stacy Haiduk Clears the Air About Her Character’s Future
Instead, it looks like Kristen’s on the hook! The judge started proceedings by making it clear that she was in charge and she was not playing around. Melinda’s protests, Belle’s attempts to back things up — the judge wasn’t interested in anything. If Kristen recants her admission of guilt, that means she committed perjury on the stand at Johnny’s trial. And Her Honor is very much ready to toss her back in prison for the maximum sentence: seven. Years.

That didn’t sit well with Kristen, who did what she does best and lost her temper, flipped out at the judge and told her to throw her in prison and get it over with if that’s where this was going.
Now it looks like both she and Rachel are going to end up in serious trouble — and they don’t let parents serve time with their kids in juvie!
With Stacy Haiduk having jumped over to The Young and the Restless to bring Patty back for another go-around with Jack, it’s gotten fans to worry that she’s leaving Days of Our Lives. And she is… but also isn’t. Owing to the Peacock drama’s advance taping schedule, “I am airing pretty much all the way up until I think November,” the actress tells Soaps.com, even though she’d been told her characters were taking a hiatus back in January.
And yes, as Haiduk put it, it is likely to be less of an exit than a break. “They have a tendency to put my character to rest” now and then, Haiduk notes. And while that may be a bummer, she’s gotten a lovely distraction this time courtesy of Patty’s comeback on Young & Restless. “This was such beautiful timing. So I’m very, very blessed at this moment.”
So while things aren’t looking good for Kristen or Rachel, the die isn’t cast just yet. And since Haiduk won’t be putting Kristen to rest for the next eight months or so, expect her to fight tooth and nail for herself and her daughter. And we’d expect nothing less!
