Bold & Beautiful Eerily Previews the Return of ‘the Old Sheila’: ‘I’m Gonna Get You, Lady!’

The Bold and the Beautiful may have let Deacon and Taylor think that they were free to live happily ever after. But that malevolent smile Sheila flashed after spying on the lovebirds said otherwise. Now the show is further foreshadowing the return of “the old Sheila” in most chilling fashion.

A Terrifying Threat

Over the weekend, the show shared to its social media a 1996 clip in which Sheila, talking to herself, warns an enemy, “I’m going to get you, lady… and you’re going to suffer like you never have before.” Given the era that the episode was aired, we’re thinking the late, great Stephanie was the individual at whom the madwoman was directing her rage.

However, Bold & Beautiful tellingly captioned the video, “Taylor, sweetheart, you’re in trouble.” In other words, the powers that be were foreshadowing that the violent and erratic Sheila of yore is about to come roaring back to seek vengeance on the “friend” she feels stole away her husband. Is that accurate? Here’s what Rebecca Budig told Soaps.com.

An Unanswered Question

If Sheila has once again snapped, we’ve gotta ask: Why didn’t she just kill Taylor when she had her cornered in her office with a sharp pizza cutter? Sheila had snuck into the building, so no one even knew that she was there.

Our guess: At the time, Sheila still thought that a show of restraint might prove to everyone that she’d changed and bring Deacon running back. But now she realizes that no, he’s gone for good — or he is unless she’s able to arrange for some kind of “accident” to befall Taylor. In other words, just because the psycho is out of sight this week doesn’t mean she should be out of mind. If we were Deacon and Taylor, we’d sleep with both eyes open, not even just the one!
