Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, December 5, reveal that Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) vanishing act will bring the custody judge’s questions while Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) deliver bad news.

In the DiMera crypt on Friday’s DOOL episode, Chad will regain consciousness and wonder what’s going on.

Tony and Kristen will let Chad know he’s the latest DiMera kidnapping victim and that there’s been no sign of rescue so far.

Since there’s plenty of food and water, Kristen and Tony have been worried about the possibility that their captor intends to keep them there for a long time.

Tony and Kristen also realized more DiMeras could be joining them and now Chad indeed has.

Chad may worry about Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) being next, but he’ll also fret over the custody hearing he’s about to miss.

This whole situation will leave Chad distraught since he’ll know his kids probably think he bailed on Thanksgiving willingly.

In the town square, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will cross paths with Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and propose a deal.

This may involve Cat’s attempt to postpone the custody hearing until Chad turns up.

However, Jennifer won’t be in the mood to negotiate with Cat and will call her a predator.

Days spoilers say the custody hearing will move forward, so Cat’s effort to reach an agreement with Jennifer seem poised to flop.

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will give Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) some positive guidance at some point on Thursday’s DOOL episode.

Days spoilers say Judge Dabney (Karole Foreman) will eventually have questions about Chad’s sudden disappearance and when he was last heard from.

Since someone has been texting fake updates from Chad’s phone, it may look like he just couldn’t be bothered to show up.

That could lead to Judge Dabney awarding full custody of Thomas and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) to Jack and Jennifer – at least temporarily.

Other Days spoilers say Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will dish out a warning to Theo, so she may urge him not to get too tangled up in DiMera turmoil.

Gabi may also want to make sure they’re still on the same page about Theo concealing her Titan-DiMera merger sabotage.

Over with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), he’ll obsess over his past at that Italian clinic with Cat.

EJ will try to remember more and will connect with Cat over drinks once she returns to the mansion.

Now that EJ has come clean about what he recalls, Cat’s playing dumb and ready to make some bold moves.

Cat will lock lips with EJ and drug his drink within the next episode or two, so stay tuned for some pre-dinner drama.
