Matt Cohen (ex-Dr. Griffin Munro on General Hospital) will make his first appearance as Detective Burrow on October 16, so Y&R will obviously need him for a crucial investigation.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Detective Burrow “will be front and center investigating a major case featuring some of the soap’s key characters.”

This sounds like a big story that’s going to involve multiple people on canvas, so let’s consider what Detective Burrow’s case might look like.

Audra has been offering constant reminders of Claire’s past penchant for poisoning.

It’s a topic that’s come up a suspicious number of times, so the show may be going somewhere with this.

In the September 8 episode, Audra will crack a joke to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) perhaps spiking her drink and causing her to foam at the mouth.

That could be another hint about Audra becoming a poisoning victim in the not-too-distant future.

Of course, we’ve also got other characters like Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and even Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) wanting Audra gone.

Audra has made a ton of enemies at this point, so it won’t be surprising if someone targets her with fatal results in mind.

Whether they succeed in wiping her off the map or not, Audra could definitely land in grave danger.
