The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) could have a dirty job in his future. Will Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) recruit Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) former attorney for some shady activities?

Cane already has Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) as his legal counsel, but there’s room for more than one lawyer to join his team.

If Cane goes through with all these corporate takeover plots, he’s going to need plenty of help to pull everything off.

Plus, Y&R fans will recall the tension between Amanda and Cane when all the drama blew up in Nice.

Cane may find himself looking to make a change or at least add an attorney who can offer a new approach.

Michael could easily become a new recruit who’s of great value.

Since Michael used to work for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and knows what makes him tick, Cane may think that’s a serious advantage.

Victor wants Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to buddy up to Cane and form a Newman alliance.

The plan is to steer Cane’s attention toward Jabot’s takedown instead of having him go after Newman Enterprises and Chancellor.

However, Cane could pull off a scheme of his own if he convinces Michael to help him go up against the Newmans.

When Victor thinks Cane is successfully distracted, Cane might be busy putting the pieces in place for his moves on Chancellor and Newman.

It’d be smart for Cane to multitask and strike when Victor believes the threat is neutralized.

Michael walked away from Victor because of his feud with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Jabot attack plans.

Since Victor is still targeting Jabot and refuses to make amends with Michael, perhaps Michael would consider becoming Cane’s team player.

It’s easy to imagine another big blowup between Victor and Michael happening at some point.

That could give Michael the final push he needs to join Cane’s side and make a true enemy out of Victor.
