The Young and the Restless Spoilers Week of August 18: Lily’s Dangerous Cane Game
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 18-22 hint that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will play a dangerous Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) game while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) face a romantic obstacle.
For starters, Lily’s decision to mess with Cane’s emotions could backfire.
It looks like Lily will mess with her own emotions in the process, so maybe the false hope she’ll offer Cane won’t be so false after all!
Although Lily has been trying to tell herself things are over for good with her ex, there’s a certain spark with Cane that she just can’t deny.
Even after everything that happened in Nice, Lily feels a certain pull toward Cane and their rich history.
It’ll be easy for Lily to fall back into a familiar groove with Cane despite her best efforts to keep her guard up.
That said, Lily will still want to manipulate Cane for the details of his agenda, so this will be a dangerous game all around.
If Cane catches on, things could blow up in more ways than one!
Speaking of blowups, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have to work through some conflict regarding Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
The more Chelsea tries to defend Billy and make excuses for him, the more frustrated Adam will become.
Meanwhile, Cane may put Billy through another grilling session and wonder if he can truly be loyal.
Billy’s plan to be an inside man for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could hit a snag if Cane gets too suspicious – especially with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) whispering in Cane’s ear.
As for Jack, he’ll hold out hope that Billy can pull this off. Jack also has a surprise in his future since Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will pull out all the stops on a honeymoon do-over soon.
Next, Y&R spoilers suggest Nick and Sharon will struggle with a romantic setback.
Since Nick will be so fixated on helping the Newmans go up against Cane, it’ll distract him from Sharon and show her just how sinister he can get.
Once Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) makes it back from Chicago, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will have a decision to make.
Will Claire move forward with telling Nate the truth about all Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) dirty Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tactics?
Audra has declared war on Claire, so she may take steps to stop her rival or at least retaliate immediately if Claire ruins her relationship with Nate.
Finally, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will embrace being in charge at Abbott Communications, but there’ll be some hurdles to deal with along the way.
Billy will have to get used to letting Sally have more power while he focuses on his Chancellor pursuit.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the week of August 18-22 will bring some exciting news and plenty of story curveballs, so stay tuned for updates on all the Genoa City drama.
