Jack’s Hopes Are Dashed by Nikki — and Audra Watches as Holden Comes Clean With Claire

Tuesday, December 30, 2025: Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor tests Michael’s loyalty, Billy doubts Nikki will come through for the Abbotts, and Claire still wants the truth from Holden.

At Society, Billy tells Jack he’s skeptical that Nikki will come through for them. Victor pops up and taunts them. The Newman is sure both of their companies will be circling the sewer drain in a matter of weeks. Jack makes it clear he would sooner burn his father’s company to the ground than let Victor get any of it.

When Billy tells Victor how much he wants to knock him off his self-made pedestal, the Mustache continues to gloat. Jack points out that Victor has come after them many times, yet they are still standing. He’s confident this will be their last battle and Victor will lose. This only makes Victor smile smugly.

Once Jack and Billy storm off, Victor calls Michael over. The lawyer feels he’s being tested again. Victor admits he questions his loyalty. To Michael’s surprise, Victor gives him an authentic Roman coin as a gift. Adding to that, he reminds him of their bond since Michael stood by his side when they faced down Ian Ward. He urges the lawyer to confirm his loyalty again. Michael does.

Nikki Tells Jack Her Choice

At the Abbott manshion, Jack tells Billy he’s sure Victor was puffing up his chest at them because he’s afraid. He remains concerned that his brother’s desire for revenge on Victor may triumph over his better senses. Billy insists he’s only concerned about what is best for the company and the family legacy. He’s still not convinced that Nikki will come through for them. When she calls and asks to come over to talk, Jack assumes this must be a good sign. Billy remains skeptical.

By the time Nikki arrives, Billy is gone. She admits to Jack that Christmas made her lose her resolve. She can’t betray Victor by stealing the AI. She assures Jack she will do all she can to talk her husband around. She assumes that his love for her will trump all else. Jack can’t see it triumphing over the hatred that Victor harbors for him in his black heart.

Audra Has Sally Worried

Audra drops in on Sally and is surprised when her friend presents her with a handbag she intendd to gift to herself after she launched Vibrante. This means a lot to her, especially since she got nothing for her pal. Sally says her friendship is gift enough. After modeling for some pictures with her gift, Audra mentions it was good to see Noah. He was actually nice to her while everyone else in town hates her. Sally doesn’t like to hear her talk like that, but Audra claims she gets her energy from her haters.

Audra relays that she’s gearing up for a final showdown with Claire, recalling how she wound up with water in her face. She’s more determined than ever to teach that “psycho little abandoned toy” a lesson she won’t forget. Sally urges her to drop this and move on, but Audra can’t. Sally can’t help but wonder if Audra is resenting Claire. She also wonders what really happened between her and Holden. Flashing back to when they accidentally killed that guy in LA, Audra insists nothing happened.

After some more denial, Audra’s relieved to have an excuse to leave when Billy shows up. Sally admits to Billy that she’s worried that her friend is hiding a big secret. Audra becomes very defensive whenever her past comes up. To Billy, this is just more proof she can’t be trusted.

Claire Tells Holden She’s Moving On

Holden runs into Claire at the overlook and she apologizes for ducking out of their breakfast date. She admits that throwing a glass of water in Audra’s face felt good; she had it coming. To him, it sounds like she’s changed a lot since they first met. He wishes she would drop all this and let him handle Audra, but she refuses.

The topic changes to Kyle. Claire admits that his decision to move on seemed to come out of left field. She explains that part of her life is now over, but that also has her feeling liberated. Holden hopes that means she’ll let him take her out for New Year’s Eve. She agrees on one condition: that he tell her what really happened with Audra in LA. Holden warns she won’t like what he has to say.

Holden Warns Audra He’s Coming Clean

At Crimson Lights, Holden and Claire run into Audra. The ladies immediately get into it, and Holden struggles to keep the peace. He manages to convince Claire to step out and warns Audra that it’s time for her to stop provoking people before this goes too far. When he explains that he plans to come clean with Claire about everything, she reminds him that he has more to lose than she does. Watching him talk to Claire on the patio, Audra looks very worried.
