Young and Restless 2-Week Spoilers Jan 19-30: Cane & Phyllis Declare War – No Mercy Given!

Young and the Restless 2-week spoilers for January 19-30, 2026 thrill as Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are taking no prisoners.
Young and Restless 2-Week Spoilers: Chelsea Panics & Does Damage Control
Let’s jump in. On Monday, January 19th, we’ve got Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) dealing with a media disaster. She deflects Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) when she asks about Newman Enterprises, saying, “Oh, it’s just a rumor.” Chelsea texts Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that things are getting worse in the press.
Adam lets Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) know the IT team may be able to trick the AI with fake targets. Victor vows they won’t lose their empire to lowlifes like Cane and Phyllis. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) mentions it’s a mess in the press, but Adam promises he and Chelsea are fighting it. Victor wants to call the cops on Cane and Phyllis, but Victoria has to remind her dad, Victor, that he also used the illegal AI, so he can’t report anybody.

Nick Newman’s Dangerous Spiral and Matt’s Kidnapping on Y&R
Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is alarmed by Nick Newman‘s (Joshua Morrow) actions on Monday because he’s got Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) tied up in his trunk. Nick gets angry about Noah’s prying and asks about his pain as Nick knocks back his last pain pill dry. Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) eavesdrops on them talking about killing Matt. Nick says Matt’s going to disappear permanently.
Noah wants to call the cops, and Sienna creeps out and runs over to the new ranch to tattle to Victor. Meanwhile, Nick is reminding Noah that Matt almost killed him twice. Noah wants to know if that’s Nick talking or the pain pills, and his dad loses it on Noah.
Then Nick says sorry, and in the next breath, asks Noah to call his doctor for more pills. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) walks in and asks why Nick is out of the hospital, and Noah tells her that Nick has Matt knocked out in the trunk. Nick’s lying about his pain level and keeps on about how he has to take Matt out.
Sienna’s Plan to Leave Genoa City and Victor Intervenes
Sienna tells Victor she’s afraid Noah and Nick are going to end up in trouble with the law. Sienna also tells Victor that as soon as the Matt thing is resolved, she’s going back to LA. She loves Noah but thinks eventually he will resent her. Plus, Sienna knows Noah wants to be in Genoa City, and she doesn’t.
Victor agrees with Sienna that it’s best she makes plans to leave. Victor goes with Sienna back over to Sharon’s. Nick is really annoyed when Victor says he’s taking Matt. And Nick is really mad and refuses, telling Victor to go focus on the Newman Enterprises crisis.
Nick blasts Sienna for going to Victor, but Victor promises Nick he’ll deal with Matt. So, Nick again keeps saying he wants to do it himself. Sharon’s pleading with Nick to just let Victor do this. Nick wants to know the plan, but Victor says it’s better that they don’t know specifics. So Nick’s going to protest, but Victor’s going to take Matt anyway.
Newman Enterprises Facing Total Destruction
Chelsea’s dealing with more problems. Later, Victoria, Chelsea, and Adam talk about damage control. Chelsea says the press won’t let up. Adam wants to keep basically lying and denying, but Chelsea says they can’t just keep spinning it. Adam jokes about kidnapping Phyllis and forcing her to shut down the AI.
Chelsea talks about Phyllis being selfish and hurting everybody around her. Victoria is worried about Victor and the toll the stress is taking. Adam fears Newman’s a sinking ship, and Victoria wants to ruin Cane because she says if they lose Newman Enterprises, it will kill their father.
Victoria is devastated, ironically, that her children could lose their legacy. It was fine for Victor to use the AI to steal the legacy from Cane’s kids and plan to use it so that Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) kids and grandkids don’t have a legacy, but it’s bad when it’s done to them. That’s typical Newman hypocrisy.
Billy Abbott and the Chancellor Takeover Plot on Young and the Restless
Tuesday, January 20th, we have Victor ready to take on Matt, having him out of Nick’s hands. He wants to do this personally, but is Victor going to pick a physical fight with Matt? If so, I hope Victor plans to bring security along. Otherwise, Matt could get the better of him. Plus, dangerous dirty cop Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) is still on the loose.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is impressed with Chelsea and her efforts at Newman Media during the crisis. Victoria goes and rips Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a new one. She wants him to answer for his actions and his choices. It looks like Victoria may find out Billy is going to work with Cane and Phyllis to take over Chancellor.
Also this week, Billy gets read the Riot Act by his brother, Jack. Billy insists he’s not doing anything wrong, but Jack disagrees. He may worry that if Billy gets his hands on Chancellor, Victor may double down on coming for Jabot. Of course, Billy is going to say that’s not going to be an issue; the bottom line is he wants Chancellor.
Victor’s Jealousy and the Kane Train Momentum on Young and the Restless
Wednesday, January 21st, we’ve got Victor catching Nikki looking too close to Jack. It’s a hug in the living room of the new ranch, not off in some secret room. Victor is going to read it the wrong way and make accusations. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is blindsided by Billy this week. It looks like Billy is going to take Cane’s offer to run Chancellor.
That’s Billy’s weakness, so it’s no surprise, but Sally is going to be crushed. Also this week, Sally’s on the “Cane train.” She may be going to confront Billy or Cane or both. Phyllis stands firmly with Cane. Of course, Phyllis is all in. She’s deluded herself about her kids being okay with what she’s doing, and Cane doesn’t have too much to lose.

Escalating Threats and Mariah’s Mysterious Message on Y&R
Thursday, January 22nd, Sharon is increasingly worried about Nick. He’s popping pills like Skittles and plotting murder. Victor confronts Jack, no doubt because he caught Nikki and Jack in each other’s arms. I’m sure Victor will rant at Jack, telling him “don’t touch my wife.”
This week, Cane tells Phyllis that all of Newman Enterprises and the subsidiaries are pretty much theirs. They just need to take control formally. Victoria enters and says, “Over my dead body.” She shows up to the “Cane train” and plans to hit him where it hurts. I don’t know if Victoria is going to slow his roll any.
Friday, January 23rd, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) gets a haunting message. Maybe it’s from the not-so-dead Ian Ward (Ray Wise) or somebody she knew from the past, which was the cult she grew up in. Trouble’s coming for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
They have a storyline kicking off with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), Mariah, and a drive-by from Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) when somebody needs a lawyer.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) go make amends with Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford), likely about Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and his death and Audra’s split from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) because of her dirty Victor deal.
Young and the Restless February Sweeps Preview: Showdowns and Divorces
For the week of January 26th through the 30th, we have the kickoff of February sweeps. It starts on Thursday, January 29th, and it’s going to run all the way through February 25th. This week, we’re going to have things in high gear.
Matt’s situation comes down to a big final showdown, likely during the sweeps. Whatever Victor has planned for Matt this week, I don’t think it’s going to be the final big boss battle; I think that’s going to come later in sweeps, around mid-February.
Victor scrambles to save Newman and stop Cane and Phyllis. Unless Adam’s solution—giving the AI fake targets—kicks in, it seems hopeless. Already divisions are missing and assets are gone. It seems beyond repair.
Nick spirals, and when his doctors cut him off of the prescription pain pills, he is going to struggle. Mariah’s situation grows more perilous as she gets further away from family. Meanwhile, Tessa gets closer to Daniel and she is going to file official divorce papers. I wonder if Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) is going to represent her.
Plus, Jack is worried about Cane, Phyllis, and Billy conspiring and whether they pose a danger to Jabot. Billy’s desperation to get Chancellor may cost him Sally and maybe Jack, too. Sienna’s planning to pack off to LA, and Noah’s going to be hurt, but Audra will probably be pretty happy to wipe his tears. Michael Baldwin (Christian Jules Leblanc) struggles as others cheer Victor’s downfall, even Lauren, and Michael’s not going to like that.
