The Young and the Restless Monday, December 1 Update: Victor Rejects Cane’s Rescue Deal – Jack’s Counterpunch

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 1, indicates that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will reject Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) rescue deal while Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) counterpunch is revealed.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack will guess Victor’s going to use the Abbott Communications launch party as a diversion.

Since Victor could be striking Jabot with the AI program in a few days, that’ll bring a sense of urgency for the Abbotts.

On Monday’s Y&R episode, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get the latest news on this threat to their family business.

Jack will ultimately tell Ashley, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) about his last-resort tactic.

Since Jack won’t see any other way to stop the AI program from getting inside Jabot’s system, he’ll think they need to go offline for at least three months.

Shutting Jabot down like this would bring catastrophe for the first quarter and stir up plenty of questions about what’s going on at the company.

Nevertheless, Jack will worry that there’ll be nothing left if Victor has his way.

This will at least give the Abbotts a fighting chance by offering time to strategize and fight back.

Plus, Jack will think this shutdown will be a counterpunch that throws Victor off his game.

Billy, Kyle and Diane will agree to Jack’s idea, but Ashley and Traci won’t seem as certain.

In the end, Jack will refuse to move forward unless it’s unanimous. It’ll be up to Traci and Ashley to decide if they’ll indeed take Jabot offline.

At the Newman ranch, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will open the door to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), who’ll admit defeat to Victor and urge him to just admit he stole the AI program.

Adam will keep claiming they don’t have it and won’t think they should give Cane the time of day, but Victor will at least hear him out.

Cane will want to sell what’s left of Arabesque to Victor for the price of the investment he initially put into it.

Victor won’t want to pick at the bones of the company and will suggest Cane should face his judgment day instead of getting a rescue.

Although Victor will eventually agree to consider Cane’s offer, he’ll really just want to give Cane some false hope.

Victor won’t think Cane’s desperate enough yet and will want to hold off on scooping up what they want from Arabesque’s ashes.

While Victor talks to Adam, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) about his plans, Cane will find Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in the midst of an argument about him at the GCAC.

Phyllis will act like Lily’s playing games with Cane and messing with his head, but Cane will insist nobody manipulates him – not Lily and not Phyllis.

Cane will send the women to their corners, but Lily will warn Cane that Phyllis could be his downfall if he’s not careful.

After Lily heads out, Cane will lash out at Phyllis for constantly provoking drama.

Once Phyllis pushes Cane to pick a side, he’ll indicate that he’s already made his choice.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane has more turmoil ahead of him both personally and professionally.
