Love is difficult, especially in Port Charles. And recently, General Hospital folks have been struggling a whole heck of a lot in their relationships. Or maybe we should say, in the lack thereof! We’ve been assuming Molly and Cody have been building to a romance for the ages. That’s usually how these things work as characters move from loathing each other, to hate-flirting, to actual flirting, to a full-blown love affair. But they just haven’t seemed to be able to make it work. Or even start.

And then there’s Jason and Britt. They have to get back together, right? They were into each other before Jason’s “death,” and since coming back, they’ve both clearly got feelings for each other yet. But they, too, have been struggling to get it jumpstarted.

And that’s where the trouble comes in. Last week, Britt got so drunk, she planted a kiss right on Cody’s lips! He, pining over Molly, pushed her away. Unbeknownst to him, Molly saw the whole thing and stormed off.

Jason saw it all, too, but he called Britt’s bluff, accusing her of putting on a show to make him jealous. And it certainly seemed to work. But when Britt accused Cody of being attracted to her, he didn’t deny it — he just couldn’t get Molly out of his head. And it’s probably safe to say that Britt’s in the same boat. Those two have history, after all, from the moment he parachuted on top of her in the Metro Court pool! And, Jason, Cody and Britt were into each other before her “death!”

In the end, Britt’s playing a dangerous game, if that little show ticked off both Molly and Jason. These two pairings have struggled to get off the ground, and this may end up causing more problems than solutions. If that’s the case, Britt’s impetuous act may end them both before they get started — and put her and Cody on a collision course to an actual kiss!

They are, after all, both reformed troublemakers (well, Britt was downright deranged) and on paper they make a whole lot of sense! And while Jason’s watching over Britt right now after her drunken accident, spoilers have made clear that by the end of the week, he’s left frustrated. If he gets tired of Britt’s shenanigans and wavers, she could go looking for comfort right back into Cody’s arms.
