Sister Wives: Christine Talks About Her Struggles With Kody!
Christine said she knew Kody wouldn’t visit her home if the kids misbehaved, the food wasn’t to his liking, or the house wasn’t spotless and decorated his way. She explained that dinner was usually ready, but Kody ate only basic foods: steak, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, and spinach. Christine often cooked separate meals for the kids, and since Gwendlyn was a vegetarian, she sometimes made three meals.
She admitted that things got complicated, especially when Kody came unannounced, which led to frequent fights. Christine shared that she wanted him to feel relaxed, yet all four wives had the same responsibilities: childcare, shopping, cooking, and housework. While Kody still seemed the busiest. Reflecting on their 2012 family book, she recalled young admiration for him, though Kody remembered differently.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Woolley Opens Up Like She Never Did Before!
Christine has always kept to herself since the show started in 2010. She experienced turbulence with Kody, and while she excelled as a mother, she also struggled with personal issues. Now that she is releasing her memoir, Christine is opening up about hidden parts of her life. The diva’s book, Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom, reveals several undisclosed secrets of her life.

In an interview with People, Christine revealed that she feels she never shared a huge part of her story with the world. She explained that the show was authentic and real, but she still kept many things hidden to remain the family’s peacemaker and keep everything working. When she left the Brown family and people asked her how she managed it, she realized she never truly opened up about her struggles on the show.
She described it as a kind of “mathematics” that didn’t make sense to her. Still, everything she experienced made her stronger and motivated her to leave. In the book, readers will gain an overview of her thought process and the bold life decisions she made. Christine revealed that now that she has shared her story with the world, she feels a weight lifted from her shoulders.
The process feels liberating. She admitted that she struggled while writing the chapters because she worried about oversharing, but her husband, David, helped her through it. Christine feels satisfied with the book and can’t wait for readers to dive into it. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for the latest Sister Wives tea.
