Sister Wives star Kody Brown, and possibly TLC, had a hand in ripping off the band-aid that covered Robyn Brown for the majority of this reality series. While Robyn was spared from being the target of Kody’s derogatory outbursts in past seasons, it looks like the last wife standing will finally get hers in Season 20. However, it appears that Robyn will become a more subtle target than her three predecessors.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Creates Drama with Robyn Brown?
Kody Brown suddenly becomes limited with targets for his anger in this new season of Sister Wives. He no longer has three wives to fuel his rage, leaving him feeling as though someone has stabbed him in the kidney. So, the foundation of his drama is limited. But… there’s still Robyn Brown.
While he’s not as mean to Robyn as he was to his three other wives, he sneaks a few things in when Sister Wives Season 20 rolls out. Kody appears to use Robyn Brown to stir up some drama on the show by throwing things at her that make her peeved.
Kody Throws Curve Balls at Robyn
First, we learn from the Sister Wives Season 20 preview that Kody meets with his ex-wives individually to deliver an apology to each one. So, when the new season rolls out, we get to see interaction between Kody and his ex-wives. But what appears more interesting is Robyn Brown’s reaction to her husband’s desire to make amends.
This means that Robyn is left out during Kody’s apology tour. By now, she knows the ex-wives assign blame to her for ripping the family apart, and it looks like she won’t be at these meetings to defend herself.
Sister Wives: Mortifying the Last Wife Standing?
It also appears as if Robyn gets a nudge from Kody. The Sister Wives patriarch wants to remain in a monogamous marriage. He was gloating over his new one-wife status last season.
But in Season 20 he talks about the possibility of a new wife. And the look on Robyn’s face is far from the look of a woman rejoicing. All along Robyn sobbed about her dream of having sister wives and how the demise of the Brown family now robbed her of this.
But, in Season 20, Kody brags to his only wife left about a woman who emailed him regarding interest in joining the family. And Robyn doesn’t look at all interested.
So, in the Sister Wives Season 20 promo, it looks like Robyn puts up with Kody’s apology campaign, which entails meeting with each ex-wife. But it also appears Kody calls her bluff when he is smitten by some woman’s email.
Instead of looking happy over Kody talking about polygamy, which is what Robyn said she wanted, fans think she looks worried. So far, the preview seems to tell the story of Robyn on the outside looking in.
Robyn gets to watch as her husband tries to fix his relationships with his ex-wives. Then she faces Kody toying with the idea of taking on another wife. So, it seems as if Robyn Brown takes a backseat to Kody Brown’s attempt at repairing his reputation.
But at the same time, it appears as if he stirs drama at her expense when the TLC series rolls back out.
