Kody and Robyn Claim It is Not Their Money
This Sister Wives season, Kody claimed that he and Robyn paid for the majority of Coyote Pass with the money from the sale of Robyn’s house. But in an episode a while back, we learned it was the sale of Janelle and Meri’s Flagstaff homes that paid for that house Robyn sold.
So who are they kidding? By now you would think Kody and Robyn would know that rewriting history doesn’t fly with the Sister Wives audience. Anyway, they tried, but the fans were all over Kody and Robyn for trying to keep Coyote Pass – or the proceeds from the sale – all to themselves.
At one point in Sunday’s episode – Kody said he didn’t know if they would sell the land because Robyn didn’t want to. So, Kody made it clear who was in charge of keeping or selling the land. This meant Janelle and Meri were up against Robyn and her decision on what to do with the property.
Sister Wives: Janelle Up Against Kody and Robyn Dodging the Issue
We heard Kody say it during the latest Sister Wives episode. He claims that both he and Robyn paid for the majority of Coyote Pass.
So, when Meri and Janelle had enough of Kody dodging the issue, they lawyered up. It is not known yet if this was the push Kody and Robyn needed to sell the property. But in real-time, the reports say it was a four-way split of the money when they sold Coyote Pass.
Now Janelle has a decision to make that has nothing to do with Coyote Pass. But ironically, fans think it would be some unintended spiritual retaliation on her part.
Janelle Has Spiritual Release On the Table…
Sister Wives showed a conversation between Meri and Janelle about being released from a spiritual marriage to Kody. Meri did and Kody is boiling over at the church’s decision. They allowed Meri this release, and the reason… abandonment by Kody.
It is not necessary in the real world to have this release for Meri to move forward in a relationship or marriage. But she felt she needed it for her own happiness going into the future. Plus, it ended up as a slap in the face to Kody, which she never intended this to be.
While Janelle and Meri talked on Coyote Pass, Janelle seemed to like the sound of a spiritual marriage release. Then Meri even offered to go with her as moral support. While this might work out as another jab at Kody, Sister Wives fans are more interested in what it would do to Robyn.

Sister Wives fans are jumping all over this as a way for Janelle to ruin Robyn’s afterlife journey. The spiritual release means they won’t be together in the afterlife. And this is something Robyn seems to look forward to, despite the way things worked out here on Earth.
So the Sister Wives fans urge Janelle to go for it. Robyn messed with Janelle’s life by holding on to Coyote Pass for so long. So, now fans want to see her raise havoc on Robyn’s afterlife journey by getting off that forever train like Meri did. Plus, Kody will once again be tagged as a husband who abandoned yet another wife…
We shall see if Janelle blows up Robyn’s afterlife trip as the season rolls along. But one thing we learned, sometimes the unintended retaliation works out better than if you tried.
