It’s been a while since Little People Big World was on TV. LPBW began almost two decades ago in 2006 and documented the lives of the Roloff Family around their pumpkin farm in Oregon. Apart from parents Matt and Amy, their four kids Jacob, Molly, Jeremy and Zach were also major highlights of the show. But as they transitioned into adults, they stopped starring in the show. Sadly, the family dynamics also changed.
It turns out Matt had said from the very beginning that after his retirement, it would be his kids’ destiny to take over the family farm. But when it was time to do so, he refused to sell the property to them. He opted for many things, putting a part of it on sale, turning the big house into a rental, and so on. Well, it looks like Matt is trying to sell the property yet again!
LPBW: A Brief History Of All The Times Roloff Farms Has Been On Sale!
After the Little People Big World star Matt Roloff had arguments with his sons, Zach and Jeremy, he put 16 acres of the farm on sale. It included the original family home and red barn, which were on the market for $4 million. After several months without a buyer, he removed the listing in October 2022 and converted the property into a vacation rental.
Then when August 2023 rolled around, Matt decided to sell the farm yet again. He significantly lowered the prices to do so, and the property was on sale again for $3.395 million. Well, despite the price cut, the part of the farm was on sale for a long time until Matt decided to take it off the market yet again. Well, it looks like there has been yet another update in the Roloff Farms property in 2025.
LPBW: Matt Is Selling Roloff Farms Again In Less Than $3 Million!
As mentioned before, Matt’s attempts to sell his Roloff Farm property have been no less than disappointing. The LPBW star has repeatedly wanted to sell parts of his farm with no luck. He then took the approach to turn the Big House into a vacation rental. Sadly a lot of viewers complained that the price for the same was too expensive for their liking. Well, things seemed to have changed now.
As per the latest updates, Matt Roloff is attempting to sell Roloff Farms yet again. This time around he decided to cut down the price even more i.e., for $2,895,000. Viewers must already know that the big house boasts of 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 1 half bath. Everyone is curious to see Matt is able to land a good deal to sell the property the third time around.
Matt opened up in an interview by saying he had “hoped” the entire farm will “stay in the family forever.” However, that didn’t happen. He said his kids now have different lives with farms and projects of their own, along with their own individual dreams. He honored this and was proud of. As Matt is nearing his 64th birthday, he has realised “less is truely more.” Hence, he is finding joy in simpler things.
