General Hospital’s ‘Carly’ and ‘Brennan’ Connection Goes Back a *Whole* Lot Further Than We Think

At the end of January, many General Hospital fans got their wish when Carly and Brennan finally kissed. It all went down in Germany when Carly arrived in Jack’s room to find him lying on the floor with Valentin standing over his body. After she smashed a vase over Valentin’s head, Carly tended to Jack…

And later, he appeared at Carly’s hotel room and thanked her for saving his life by pulling her into a kiss.

It wasn’t long after when news came that the role of Brennan had been recast. Though fans had come to enjoy the chemistry between the characters, Charles Mesure had decided to leave the role — and in his place, One Life to Live and The Young and the Restless alum Chris McKenna quickly stepped into the part. But guess what? For those who don’t know, this isn’t the first time the stars have crossed paths in daytime…

Mckenna recently posted a throwback photo alongside Wright from 1993. At the time, he had been playing Joey on One Life to Live with Wright as Ally on sister soap Loving. The pic got quite the reaction out of the actress who plays Wright’s onscreen daughter, Eden McCoy, who stated, “Oh my God.” And after McKenna replied, “Forgot to show you the other day. Thought you’d get a kick [out of] that,” Wright jumped in and said, “Haaa. Eden!”
