General Hospital Preview: As Cyrus Prepares to Kill [Spoiler], Fans Have a Surprising Reaction

Pretty much everyone in Port Charles knows that Cyrus is a bad guy, and many have been clued in to the fact that he’s a killer. (Worse, he’s a killer of the serial variety!) But this week on General Hospital, even as the walls close in on Laura’s supposedly God-fearing bro, he’s plotting another murder… or maybe two!
Much like the Port Charles police, fans have been trying to connect the dots linking the trail of bodies left in Cyrus’ wake. But that’s proving difficult, given that his motives are murky at best. However, the latest promo — which you can check out for yourself below — seems to make it clear that at this point, he’s moving into self-protection mode.
Why do we say that? Because he’s setting his sites on Elizabeth and Joss, both of whom have been working to end his reign of terror. The next chapter in their Nancy Drew-like adventures just might involve one of the lovely young ladies paying a visit to the morgue… as a permanent guest!

It’s looking as if the next movie screening at the local theater might be the classic horror flick My Bloody Valentine, seeing as the just-passed holiday is still unfolding in upstate New York.

Fans are of two minds where this latest twist is concerned. Based on what they’re saying on social media, they’re definitely ready for this particular storyline to come to an end. At the same time, however, they’re not loving the thought of losing Jeff Kober and his pony-tailed villain.
Taking to the service formally known as Twitter, Lisa Echerd perfectly summed up the conflicting emotions felt by many. “It’s time to wrap up the Cyrus story,” she said before adding, “though I hate to see the actor go. He’s so good!”
So Cyrus is going to inject Joss and Elizabeth is going to save her, perhaps. It’s time to wrap up the Cyrus story though I hate to see the actor go. He’s so good.
