General Hospital Spoilers: Marco’s Deceit Threatens His Relationship With Lucas
General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) have been falling in love over these past few months.
Lucas had no idea when he met Marco in Miami earlier this year that we would become such an important person in his life. They met innocently enough when Lucas found Marco’s credit card on the floor in the Miami hotel Lucas was staying in.
Lucas Jones and Marco Rios had an immediate bond
Once Lucas found Marco, they began talking over drinks. Lucas told Marco all about his past marriage to Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) and how the things Brad did destroyed their relationship.
Although they kept things platonic,, they did exchange phone numbers even as Lucas returned home to Port Charles. Surprisingly, Marco ended up moving to Port Charles himself just a few weeks later.
Even more shocking was the fact that Marco is the son of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Natalia Ramirez (Eva Larue). But the couple didn’t let their families get in the way of their newfound romance.
Jenz Sidwell is at war with Sonny Corinthos
Sidwell and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) have become enemies since Sidwell moved to town and taking up residence at Wyndemere.
Sidwell wants the docks that Sonny owns, and Sonny isn’t willing to sell the property to Sidwell, especially because of Sidwell’s past criminal actions. Sidwell tried to force Sonny’s hand by hiring a couple men to torch Charlie’s, which was supposed to be empty.
But Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was in the bar and would have died had Marco not risked his own life to save her.
Things further escalated when Natalia died that same night and became even more complicated when Sonny kidnapped Marco.

Marco Rios is out for blood
Although Marco told Sonny he didn’t blame him for Natalia’s death, that was a lie. He wants revenge on Sonny and is now working with his father to ensure Sonny’s takedown. Lucas doesn’t know anything about Marco’s plans for revenge. While Lucas doesn’t approve of Sonny either, he certainly wouldn’t agree with Marco’s plans to destroy Sonny alongside Sidwell. Lucas and Marco’s newfound relationship may not survive once Marco’s deceit comes out into the open.
