General Hospital Preview: Kelly Thiebaud Marvels at the Mind-Blowing Explanation for Britt’s Resurrection

General Hospital viewers have been watching as Britt’s back from the dead story has begun to unfold. Though it hasn’t been revealed just yet as to how the character, who died in her mother’s arms after being stabbed by “The Hook” aka Heather, is still alive, her portrayer recently chatted with a couple of her castmates and teased how Britt survived.

In Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) latest edition of their Stone Cold and The Jackal YouTube show, Kelly Thiebaud stated, “I was really blown away what they came up with, what they gave me as far as how she survived.” She went on to recall her first conversation with the ABC soap’s executive producer Frank Valentini and how she suggested they bring her back with a Romeo and Juliet spin, where the poisoning only lasts 24 hours, leading Obrecht to take her away because she has Huntington’s, but, “It’s not at all that!” she stated then went on to preview, “It’s so much bigger and more creative and there are so many other people involved in it. I can’t believe what they’ve done. It’s exciting!”

After noting how fun it’s going to be when Britt comes back to Port Charles, Thiebaud added, “There’s the whole confrontation with Lulu and Dante about Rocco… that’s a whole story I thought was buried years ago. But the timing of it all is amazing in that we get to go through these past experiences again.”
