General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, May 8, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get a shock while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has some consequences for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will also question Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), so let’s discuss what’s ahead in Port Charles.
For starters, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will put Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) through a grilling session, so he’ll have to dodge questions about his failed romance with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and the real reason they fell apart.
Jordan pushed Isaiah away to focus on her Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) mission, but Isaiah will presumably keep a lid on the details.
Over with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), he’ll witness something shocking at work that leaves him thrown for a loop.
Will Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) make a huge quitting announcement and stomp out of the hospital?
GH spoilers say Brad is indeed on the verge of a major life change, so he may ditch his job and head for greener pastures.
Once Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gives Brad the $1 million he promised following part two of their deal, Brad might even decide to leave Port Charles altogether.
As for Drew, he may try to get the public back on his side.
Drew’s image took a serious hit thanks to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Portia’s plot, but he might speak out about getting drugged and demand justice.
Whatever the case, Portia will spot something related to Drew in the news and give Nina updates over the phone.
It could leave Portia making some predictions about the trouble that’s still to come.
After Nina realizes her Drew problem isn’t going away anytime soon, she’ll join Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in ranting about their mutual disdain for him.
Of course, Portia will be on edge over the possibility of getting busted for her part in the Jacinda (Paige Herschell) scheme.
That’s why Portia will have a conversation with Willow, which will really be more of a fishing expedition about how much Drew’s remembered and who he blames.
Drew hasn’t brought Willow in the loop on his suspicions yet, so she may not be much help to Portia at this point.
Meanwhile, Drew will make some ominous comments to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Since Drew seemingly believes Tracy teamed up with Portia for his takedown, he’ll drop some hints and prepare to make them pay.
Nina will get by with her role in all this for now, but secrets never stay buried for long in Port Charles!
Even if Portia’s willing to protect Nina, Drew could eventually figure out the real mastermind of this drugging operation.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will rip into Jason over what happened to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Although Dante won’t be happy about Danny dragging Rocco to the bonfire and leaving him alone to get alcohol poisoning, he’ll mostly hold Jason responsible for his son’s actions.
After Jason and Dante clash, Danny will have to face his punishment. Jason will definitely scold Danny for his wild night, but he won’t be too hard on him in the end.
Danny has been through a lot in recent months and has learned his lesson, so Jason will keep all that in mind as he decides on the consequences.
Finally, Dante will have plenty to get off his chest when he catches up with Sonny following his surgery.
Sonny will hear about Rocco’s shocking ordeal, so he’ll be relieved his grandson’s OK and will encourage Dante to talk to him.
Almost losing Rocco so soon after losing Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has taken a toll on Dante’s emotions, so he may spill that to Sonny.
