General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 24, reveals that a scandalous romance will get the green light while Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) hides the Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) survival twist she just learned about.

To kick things off, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will feel like she should be doing more to protect Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) – both their marriage and their freedom!

However, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will push Trina to bow out and let her parents handle their issues on their own.

As for Jordan’s connection to Curtis, she may promise Trina that they’re just close friends who care about each other.

That could change now that Portia is ready to go all in with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), which is what she’ll apparently indicate in Wednesday’s show.

Portia’s pairing with Isaiah is rather scandalous since she’s still married and happens to be his boss, but she’ll give him the green light anyway.

We’ll see Portia announce her change of heart and hope that Isaiah still wants to see where things could go between them.

Meanwhile, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will put Curtis through an interrogation and push for the truth about his Portia suspicions.

Does Curtis really believe Portia might’ve pulled the trigger on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?

Next, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will create an unsettling situation while her family’s busy trying to track her down.

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will have a deep conversation with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) during their travels – one that’ll presumably involve Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).

Perhaps Ned will push Brook Lynn to stop being so stubborn and accept that she’s missing her mom terribly.

Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) demise should lead to Brook Lynn and Lois’ opportunity to reconnect with a little help from Ned.

At the Quartermaine stables, James West (Gary James Fuller) will make a sad confession about sometimes wishing Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) were his father.

Cody may assure James that he’ll always be there for him as an uncle, but it’s clear that James is feeling a dad void.

Felicia won’t give James updates on the complicated Nathan ordeal just yet, but she’ll continue to worry about how this comeback could affect Nathan’s son.

At GH, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will continue to face a flood of emotions now that Nathan has finally regained consciousness.

It doesn’t make sense to Nina that Nathan is alive and right in front of her.

Although Nina is obviously overjoyed, she’ll need Nathan to give her an explanation on how this is possible.

Nathan will seem a bit bewildered, so some memory loss is an option here.

It’s even possible Nathan will fake amnesia to avoid answering questions, so Nina may not get the full story she’s counting on.
