General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, January 8, reveals that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will face her last chance while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) takes her biggest gamble in the courtroom.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also have a nervous visitor, so here’s what GH viewers can look forward to.

For starters, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will be curious when she bumps into Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who’ll be in a big hurry as he races out of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house.

Kristina will quiz Gio about what he’s up to, but Gio obviously won’t offer updates on the secret plan he’s working on with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).

Gio had some initial reservations, but he ultimately got on board with Kai and Trina’s ringtone scheme.

Trina and Kai need to know if Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) special ringtone for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) is Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, so Gio will get Wiley to call his dad.

As for Kai and Trina, they’ll coordinate with Gio to make sure they’re near Michael when his phone rings.

Trina and Kai’s theory will probably be proven wrong, so they may hear a ringtone that’s nothing like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star at all.

However, Kai and Trina may discover some other huge news if Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) calls Willow at some point.

If Willow’s ringtone for Scout is the right one, then Trina and Kai may realize she’s the real shooter!

As for Drew, he’ll blast Michael during his testimony and cause some courtroom chaos.

It’ll make things worse for Willow, so Alexis will decide to put her on the stand and hope for the best.

Willow wants to defend herself to the jury, but there are a lot of risks involved here.

Even so, Alexis will admit Willow is their best bet when it comes to undoing Drew’s damage, so they’ll give this final strategy a shot.

Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), it looks like they’ll bicker about Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) suspension and whether Dante should reinstate him.

Brook Lynn will also speak with Sonny at some point and get some much-needed support.

Nevertheless, it’ll be Kristina who is perhaps Sonny’s most nervous visitor since she’ll fret over all the Michael drama and the possibility that he’ll go to prison.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will have faith that Michael’s going to stay a free man and will urge Kristina to have faith as well.
