General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Threatens Justine - Gets Rocco Home for Thanksgiving?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will threaten ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) at some point this week, so can he ensure his grandson Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) makes it home to his family for Thanksgiving?

The ABC soap just released its promo for the week of November 24, and there’s a scene that indicates there could be some drama up ahead for the teen as he sits in prison for a crime he technically didn’t commit.

After all, Rocco should’ve gotten a slap on the wrist for breaking into PCU Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab; however, as the sketchy researcher framed him for ransacking the space, Rocco’s penalty was much more severe.

What makes matters stickier is the fact that Dalton is deceased, a fact Sonny knows about but Justine doesn’t.

During this week’s GH preview, a scene is shown where Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) goes to visit Rocco in prison.

The young man looks exhausted and defeated as he asks Dante if he thinks he’ll be home for Thanksgiving.

Dante doesn’t answer, and it sounds like Dalton’s “disappearance” could complicate things for Rocco’s case.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Threatens Justine, Gets Rocco Home for Thanksgiving?

Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) have agreed to testify on Rocco’s behalf.

They were both in the lab hiding when Rocco got caught by Dalton, so they know that Rocco didn’t destroy any property on the premises.

Still, as the PCPD will be notified of Dalton’s disappearance in the days ahead, Rocco’s situation could go two ways.

Either things will get messier, as Dalton won’t be able to offer a rebuttal to Charlotte and Danny’s statements, or Rocco could get off on the charges, as it’ll look mighty shady that Dalton isn’t available for questioning.

Shortly after the Rocco/Dante scene in the preview, the next clip shows a close-up of Justine with a stern look on her face as Sonny exclaims, “Get him out of there, or I will!”

There’s nothing Rocco and Dante want more than to have Rocco released and at home.

As Thanksgiving takes place this week, the need and urgency will be that much greater.

Sonny is upset at Justine as it is for locking up Rocco based on minimal evidence, as she was simply shown photos of Dalton’s lab, and the police didn’t conduct an investigation of their own.

As such, he’ll be fuming at the thought that Rocco may not make it home for Thanksgiving because of her incompetence.

Sonny considers this a backstab on every level. It’s one thing to do your job; it’s another to turn a blind eye to justice.

Will Justine take Sonny’s threat to heart and work overtime to get Rocco released, or will the mob boss take matters into his own hands?

It’s hard to think that Sonny would bust Rocco out of prison as the long-term repercussions would be severe; however, Sonny’s ego may not be thinking straight.

It’s unclear if Justine is developing true feelings for Sonny or if she’s getting closer to him to score information that she could base a case on.

Sending Port Charles’ Teflon Don to prison would look very good on her DA resume, so Justine may take Sonny’s threat seriously; she may feel as if this situation could erase the progress she’s made with him, where trust and loyalty are concerned.

Will Justine ensure Rocco gets released before the holiday in an attempt to salvage her “friendship” with Sonny?

General Hospital spoilers imply that, as this is the last week of November Sweeps, fans need to brace for some major drama, so it’ll be interesting to see the change in dynamics between Sonny and Justine, post-threat, and if Rocco will indeed make it “home” for Thanksgiving.
