Chase is hard at work in the Quartermaine kitchen on Thanksgiving Day. Brook Lynn brings in a fire extinguisher, noting her husband is tempting fate.

The doorbell rings, and Brook Lynn races to answer it, saying, “He’s here!” Suddenly, there is pounding on the door and a car horn honking outside, which bring Olivia and Leo down to the foyer along with Brook Lynn to see what the commotion is.

Olivia answers the door, and it is Michael, bringing Ned home. Olivia is overjoyed, as he wasn’t due home till tomorrow, but Ned, Michael, and Brook Lynn arranged for the surprise.

Can Chase Beat the Quartermaine Curse?

Suddenly, the smoke alarms go off, and Olivia rants that Chase is going to burn the house down. Brook Lynn takes Ned to rest on the couch in the living room, as the others investigate the kitchen. Ned wasn’t expecting the family to try to cook, but Brook Lynn says her husband is determined to break the curse.

Ned brings up the thaw between his daughter and Gio when they visited him, and Brook Lynn says Gio is starting to let her in. Ned knew they’d get there and jokes he hopes it wouldn’t take another heart attack to keep it going. The doorbell rings again, and Brook Lynn answers, thrilled to see Gio and Emma.

Brook Lynn invites them in, and Gio hugs Ned. Leo, Olivia, and Michael join everyone in the living room and reveal that the smoke alarm was a false alarm.

The family discusses Tracy, who is still on her trip and doesn’t know about Ned’s heart attack, per Ned’s choice. He doesn’t want her worrying about him. Olivia says it also delays their having to tell Tracy that Drew stole all their heirlooms, prompting Ned to relive his confrontation with Drew and his heart attack.

A bit later, Chase welcomes Ned home, and the elder Quartermaine warns Chase that his dinner is doomed to fail. Chase suggests they all have faith, and it will be delicious. Leo announces he’s not having any, as yesterday he decided to become a vegetarian after reading a book about turkeys. Olivia doesn’t take this news lightly, and Chase says he roasted a Tofurky for the vegetarians. Leo asks what about Outback, as he just let her in, as she looked really hungry. Everyone panics.

In the kitchen, Outback has found the turkey! Fortunately, the family nabs him before she touches a thing. The dinner is on the table, and Olivia can’t believe it. Chase suggests they dig in, but Brook Lynn says they’ve tempted fate as is, and there have been times when the food is on the table, and they still don’t get to eat it because of a disaster. Brook Lynn suggests they give the food away to those who deserve such a grand feast, and Olivia has the perfect people in mind. (And once again, no Turkey for the Qs! I really thought this would be the year!)

Carrying On Another Tradition

At the hospital, Portia is surprised when Isaiah shows up to work unscheduled. They go into a room to talk, and he explains he didn’t want her to spend the holiday alone. She gets them some granola bars, saying they shouldn’t chance the cafeteria’s turkey loaf.

Later, the Quartermaines arrive with their feast, which they are donating to the doctors and staff. It’s their way of saying thank you for saving Ned. Portia notes Monica always made sure the staff was taken care of at Thanksgiving, and it’s wonderful to see them carrying on the tradition. They set the meal up in the conference room.

Later, Brook Lynn Hopes Chase isn’t too upset that they gave his meal away, and he isn’t. Michael excuses himself and says he’ll see them back at the house. He recalls hearing Willow invite Liz to Drew’s on Thanksgiving for a wedding.

Back at Qs, Gio stuck around to keep Ned company, and Ned knows Brook Lynn was happy to see him today. Gio says they had a bit of a breakthrough, and he realizes Brook Lynn did what she did as she loved him and wanted the best for him, and he’s had a good life. Ned hopes he gets to a place where he has a great relationship with his parents. Gio says he and Brook Lynn are on the way, but he doubts it will happen for him and Dante. Ned tells him life is long, and he doesn’t want to have regrets at the end of his days, so stay open to the idea.

The doorbell rings, and Gio answers it. He’s shocked by who it is…

The Turkey’s Wedding Day

At Drew’s, he tells Willow, who is in a nightgown, that she looks beautiful. She says he can’t see her as it’s bad luck, but he feels today will be perfect. They lock eyes, and Willow spots Scout’s hairpins on the mantel, which she has been looking for. (She seemed desperate to get away from him!)

Alexis soon arrives, and Willow thanks her for joining them. Willow rushes off to give Scout her accessories, and Drew warns Alexis to make no snide remarks and convince Scout she approves of this marriage.

In her bedroom, Willow puts the pins in Scout’s hair and tells her she is prettier today than at their last wedding. Scout just wants Willow and her dad to be happy. Willow says they will be, and that Scout reminds her so much of her mom. They embrace.

Kai arrives to give Drew an update on the wedding plans, but can’t stay, as he had already made a holiday commitment before Drew planned this wedding. He hopes Drew gets everything he deserves today. (Is someone going to shoot him again?)

Kai takes off as Nina arrives with a garment bag. She lets Drew know she is here without an agenda. Willow wants to marry him, so she is staying out of her way. All she wants is Willow’s freedom and happiness, and she tells Drew to be deserving of the second Chance Willow has given him.

Liz shows up later, and Alexis rants to her about Drew hijacking Thanksgiving, and she’s only here for Scout. She feels only slightly better about this circus, knowing Willow loves Scout.

Nina takes a dress to Willow in her room, which she grabbed from Crimson and had altered. Willow is curt with Nina and says Liz will help her get ready. Nina thanks Willow for inviting her, and she promised she wouldn’t interfere, but if she doesn’t want to do this, then they can walk out of here.

Nina says she’ll provide whatever she needs, no strings attached. Willow realizes Nina means it and tells her that she’s not blind to Drew, but nothing is more important than being exonerated and getting her kids back. This is a strategy for the court, prompting Nina to ask if she loves Drew. Willow says, “I don’t have to love Drew; I love my kids and will do whatever I need to to have them back with me.”

Nathan shows up later, and Nina is glad to see her brother. She tells him that Willow is determined to marry Drew, seeing it as the only way to exonerate herself and get her kids back, and that she doesn’t even love the guy. Nathan gets a text and has to go because of work.

Alone in her room, Willow looks at a photo of her and her kids when Liz arrives. She asks, “Are you ready to get married?”

In the living room, Alexis talks to Scout, who hopes that once her dad and Willow are married, she’ll get to see her family more often, including Danny and Rocco. Alexis tells her that she thinks she’s going to get the family she deserves after this wedding. (That sounds ominous!)

Trina Learns a Secret

At Curtis’ place, he, Trina, and Stella welcome Marshall home from his tour. Marshall notices that Portia is missing, and Trina explains she has to work today.

Marshall, Curtis, and Trina set the table when there is a knock at the door. Trina answers it, and it’s Kai. Right after Kai, Jordan shows up at the door with a dish, and Trina is not pleased at all.  Stella, however, is happy to see Jordan and have help in the kitchen, but Jordan can’t stay. She’s having dinner with Sidwell, but wanted to drop off some greens.

Jordan leaves, and Curtis runs after her. He asks her not to go. Jordan says even though Stella invited her, the look on Trina’s face made it clear it was too soon. They are glad to have seen one another today.

Back inside, Stella and Marshall talk about Portia’s happy news, and Trina drops a platter when she hears her mother is pregnant.

In the Show’s Final Moments

The Quartermaine gang returns home, and Gio surprises them with a massive pizza delivery. The pizza came with a card, and the delivery is all Tracy’s doing. The family is touched. Gio takes Emma aside and thanks her for going with his family to deliver the food at the hospital. They kiss.

Before they dig in, they all take hands and stand in a circle as they sing. Those are the rules! First we sing, then we eat!

At Drew’s, Martin arrives to officiate, and the wedding begins. However, from outside, Michael spies on it through the window.

At the hospital, Isaiah and Portia get romantic in her office over some pumpkin pie.

Finally, Trina walks out of her house to see Curtis and Jordan kissing and exclaims, “Oh my god!” That’s when Nathan and an officer show up, and Nathan tells Curtis they need to talk down at the station about the attempted murder of Drew Cain.

On the next General Hospital, Kevin surprises Laura, and Curtis asks if he’s under arrest.
