General Hospital sees 2025 over and done, and 2026 just kicking off, we have got predictions for what we would like to see coming in the year ahead. From Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), from diabolical Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and more. We’re going to discuss our top 10 GH predictions for 2026.
General Hospital: Michael Gets Jacinda Pregnant
Our first prediction is that Michael Corinthos impregnates Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell). I suspect this will happen because, let’s be real, Michael gets every woman that he is ever with pregnant. That’s just a pattern of behavior. He impregnated terrible Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). That’s how he wound up with his son, Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Viron Weaver). He got Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) pregnant with Amelia Grace Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) gave Michael Corinthos his daughter, Daisy, after a one-night whoopsie.
So, it’s entirely possible Jacinda may give Michael baby number four. I think the only girlfriends that haven’t gotten pregnant are the ones who got killed tragically. There was Abby, there was Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), and there was Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) who got strangled to death by a serial killer. Loving Michael is dangerous, y’all.
Willow Tait and Drew Cain Quartermaine’s Toxic Marriage: Will Willow Tait Finally Dump Him in 2026 on GH?
Our second prediction is that Willow dumps Drew, and he goes even more berserk. We all know Willow hates Drew. She didn’t want to marry him. She only did it because Willow thought it might help get her kids back. As soon as she does get the kids back, I think Willow is going to dump Drew right on his behind.
She will get their marriage annulled if she can or divorce him if she can’t. I think Willow is going to try to erase that toxic marriage. Of course, Drew will be heartbroken and also furious. He may lash out like never before when he loses Willow.
The End of Sidwell on General Hospital: Which Port Charles Resident Will Take Down the Villain?
Our next prediction is that Sidwell gets killed. You can take your pick of who does it because there are plenty of people who want him dead. We’ve got Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who would love to kill Sidwell. They’ve wanted to do that since day one.
With Sonny under Sidwell’s thumb, he’s even more eager to get rid of the guy. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) doesn’t condone violence, but I think she would be fully relieved if Sidwell was dead. Drew also has Ulrich Sidwell problems, and Ava Jerome (Maura West) might lash out when she figures out Sidwell’s using her.
There’s WSB’s Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), who doesn’t like Sidwell, his disgruntled researcher Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and of course, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who has been kidnapped and stuck at Wyndemere. Bottom line, Sidwell needs to go.
Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves Reunion: Is a Second Chance at Romance Coming to General Hospital?
Our fourth prediction is that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny reunite. I know a pile of fans want to see Nina and Sonny back together. Neither of them has had a real, legit romance since they split. Nina and Sonny Corinthos still have chemistry and strong feelings for each other.
They are still friends, and Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) moved on, so she’s not really an obstacle at this point. Of course, Sonny’s got his little flirt thing going with Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), but she’s playing Sonny and he’s playing her. Sonny with law enforcement never works out. Maybe Nina and Sonny will even get remarried in 2026.
Brad Cooper and Lucas Jones Reconciliation on General Hospital: Will ‘Brucas’ Reunite in the New Year?
Our fifth prediction is that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) also reunite. We’ve got Brad back in Port Charles, and of course, he still loves Lucas. Plus, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) keeps getting in deeper with his dad, Sidwell, and all his dirty mob business. Marco is plotting to kill Sonny, and I doubt Lucas would be okay with that.
Marco recently said if Lucas finds out what he’s up to with his dad, then he’ll probably lose Lucas forever. To be honest, Lucas would be a hypocrite if he stuck by Marco once he finds out about the criminality he’s engaged in. Lucas has judged Carly very harshly for the criminal path Sonn is on and that she has ignored.
The Downfall of Jack Brennan on GH: Carly Corinthos Spencer and Valentin Cassadine’s Revenge
At number six, we predict that Valentin and Carly will succeed in destroying Brennan. Either he’s going to get sent away to prison, which is Carly and Valentin’s first choice, or Brennan might wind up collateral damage and die.
We have heard that Chris McKenna is going to exit. That’s a leak, though, not a confirmed spoiler, but it definitely informs what I think about these predictions. We shared that recent General Hospital leak from a trusted behind-the-scenes source.
At first, it said Brennan would be killed off by the end of the year, then the leaker revised their statement and said he would be killed off in the next couple of months. We’ll see if it actually manifests.
But it makes sense because Carly is completely done with Brennan. Valentin hates him and would gleefully kill him, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) doesn’t trust Brennan because he sent Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) away.
Maxie Jones’ Return to General Hospital: A Choice Between Spinelli and Nathan
Our seventh prediction is that Maxie returns and is torn between Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Of course, Maxie loves and adores Spinelli, but Nathan was the love of her life. Everybody thought he had been dead for seven years. When Maxie wakes from her coma and finds Nathan very much alive, I think her whole world is just going to flip upside down.
We know she loves Spinelli, but come on, Nathan is her person. Then again, I’m not entirely sure that it is 100% Nathan in there. He looks like Nathan and he’s still hot like Nathan, but there are a lot of questions about the gaps in his memory, where he’s been, and why he was driving that stolen truck.
Is Peter August Controlling Nathan? A Dark General Hospital Twist
That leads us to our eighth prediction. Awful Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is inside Nathan’s head, in control of him, and still fixated on Maxie. From the minute Nathan West came back, something has seemed off with him. Brennan just reminded Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) that Nathan’s real last name is Faison as in Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Nathan claims to have no memories of the last seven years, and though he wasn’t raised by his dad, Faison, he was in that stolen truck. The whole thing is very dodgy. I suspect Peter, or maybe Faison, might be in control of Nathan’s mind – at least part of the time.
Jason Morgan and Britt Westbourne: Taking Their Relationship Public in 2026
Number nine on our prediction list: I suspect Jason and Britt’s romance to rev up and they take it public with a full-blown relationship. Lots of fans want Jason Morgan and Britt Westbourne back together. I’d love to see them fully together again.
Jason Morgan is slowly proving himself to Britt Westbourne and showing her that she can trust him. Jason Morgan is breaking down her wall, so I do think we could see them in a relationship sometime in 2026. They just had a moment and a kiss on Britt Westbourne’s birthday, which was New Year’s Eve, and I do expect more soon.
Carly may fume because she’s possessive of Jason and can’t stand Britt, but I think we’re going to see Carly in a new romance of her own. That wouldn’t stop her from butting into Jason’s business, but he needs to set boundaries if he wants to keep Britt.
Carly Corinthos Spencer and Valentin Cassadine: The Unlikely New GH Romance
That leads to our 10th and final prediction. I think we could see Valentin and Carly heat up. We’ve heard James Patrick Stuart will stick around until March, but you never know; they might keep him around longer. He’s a popular character. From the minute Carly and Valentin started plotting together, they had this undeniable chemistry. They’re fun together. I’d love to see Carly with Valentin in a full-blown romance, even if it’s not destined to last.
Carly’s perfect for Valentin because he can’t get anything past her. I loved Carly snarking at Valentin over New Year’s Eve champagne, saying “Don’t worry, there’s no polonium in it.” That was a nice callback. Even though Valentin will always care for Anna, they do seem to have moved on from each other. Carly is totally over Brennan and wants to absolutely destroy him. There’s nothing stopping Carly and Valentin from having a little fun together before this storyline wraps up. And it would make Brennan’s head explode to find out Carly had gotten with Valentin.
