In the video, Michelle told attendees to raise children who “love the Lord” and to “make an impact,” guided by faith and family values.

Her message was all about having religious overtones, making viewers very concerned. Critics argued that her words had the same harmful teachings of the IBLP she and her family were once tied to. Hence, the clip is facing a lot of criticism online. Reddit users were quick to call out the irony of her advice. After all, everyone knows about her family’s controversies.

Some pointed out that Michelle left much of the parenting to her older daughters. However, Michelle is a beloved figure in some conservative circles.
