In a new Youtube Vlog, the couple Jason and Maddie Duggar decided to answer some piping hot questions surrounding them for a while now. One of them was about their stand on IBLP teachings. Jason said that he gave up on them and his wife and former girlfriend, Maddie Grace, had no idea about it. But to understand, she did watch a clips from his family’s show 19 Kids And Counting and wasn’t a “big fan.”
Jason said that while he respected his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, he wasn’t in touch with the lifestyle and teachings from his childhood. Hence, he made his own rules when it came to dating Maddie and has been navigating life in the same way. In a broader sense, the duo agreed that they now follow mainstream Christian beliefs.

As mentioned above, Jason, in a way, confirmed that he didn’t follow the courtship rules when he met Maddie and dated her instead. This confirmed many suspicions fans had about their physical proximity before tying the knot. Then, as the couple shared pictures from their proposal, Maddie had hinted that they would most likely be saying “I do” to one another by 2025.
But to everyone’s surprise, Maddie and Jason shared pictures from their fall wedding in the former’s hometown in Tennessee. However, it gave rise to a lot of speculations. Many wondered why they decided to tie the knot this early on. Some felt it was because of an early pregnancy situation. Some started noticing Maddie’s clothes, too, trying to find hints about a possible pregnancy announcement in the future.
Well, in the Youtube Vlog answering many questions, Maddie and Jason talked about this. The former said that “she didn’t want to have kids for a while.” Althoug she “loved them” but she didn’t want to “have any at that moment.” She added how the couple wanted to savour their new marriage and get to know one another. Jason said that his parents were incredible, and it was their calling to have 19 kids.
However, Jason wanted to enjoy every stage with his partner Maddie that the lord put them in. Many viewers agreed that it was very wise of them to think this way, as it’s not uncommon in the Duggar family to start trying for kids immediately after marriage.
