Derrick proposed to Jill in a small town in Bentonville, Arkansas. She also revealed that she felt extra special on the day because he dedicated her to a Walker Hayes song that told their love story. However, fans couldn’t believe that they actually had to replay every little thing about the proposal.
Jill said that they did it for TLC producers purely to capture everything in perfect angles. She also narrated a funny story about them unintentionally cutting off access to the square by those preparing for their own engagement.
