Hey, Days of Our Lives fans. I’ve got your weekly prediction edition. We’re going to talk about Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) confessing and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) getting a hunk of burning love.
We’ve got predictions for Sarah Andrew Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), for Cat, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), for Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), for EJ, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), and also for Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer). Let’s dive right in.
Sarah Horton’s Secret Confession Rocks Xander on Days of Our Lives
Our first prediction, Sarah confesses to Xander. So, Thursday, May 8th, spoilers have Sarah and Xander planning their honeymoon. So much has happened in their marriage, they haven’t had a chance for a romantic getaway. And Sarah, of course, wants Xander to get his mind off Philip Kiriakis’s (John-Paul Lavoisier) mess with the forged letter and all that. But on Friday, their plans are wrecked after Sarah has an allergic reaction.
Xander and Sarah are having some food in the square. Looks like a little cake. And they’re talking about their upcoming honeymoon plans. And then she has an allergic reaction. She’s rushed over to the hospital. And of course, we all know Sarah’s hiding that she knew about Philip’s forged letter. And she continues to lie to Xander’s face.
Maggie Gets Pulled Into Sarah and Xander Drama
Mama Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) doesn’t think the truth will help anything now because it’s too late. Of course, she thinks in a perfect world, Sarah would have immediately told Xander, but now it’s just not going to work out well. Maggie advised silence. So, it feels like Sarah’s hospital stay is when all this may come out because the hospital thing’s kind of out of the blue.
Maggie may come to see Sarah and they’re talking about the fake letter and all that and then Xander overhears. Or maybe Sarah herself decides she has got to tell Xander the truth because she feels maybe the allergic reaction is some kind of omen, some kind of sign she doesn’t deserve a honeymoon with her husband while she is being a lying liar who lies.
So Sarah may blab it to Xander herself. There may be some medication involved. Maybe they give her something for the allergic reaction that makes her chatty. I would hope that Sarah would do it of her own volition, but we’ll see. This definitely sets things up for Sarah and Xander’s happily ever after to be wrecked.
Days of Our Lives Love Triangle: Cat Charmed by EJ, Chad’s Jealousy Explodes
Our second prediction, Cat is charmed by EJ and Chad gets jealous. So, in this week’s spoiler, Chad wants to know why EJ bid on that date with Cat and EJ wants to know if his brother Chad is jealous that he’s taking her out. Same day on Monday, spoilers have Chad telling Cat to think twice about something. Maybe you better date with EJ.
I mean, of course, she’s going to say, “Well, he bid. I have to go.” But Chad may offer to cover EJ’s donation to the hospital, so Cat doesn’t have to go out with EJ. But then on Thursday the 8th, spoilers say Cat gives Chad a free pass. And maybe it’s about him budding into this charity date situation.
Cat and EJ Bond
And it does look like Cat goes on that date with EJ because in the promo Cat’s all dressed up, nice hair, nice makeup, not the usual kind of frantic, kind of frazzled look she usually has. So once EJ gets an inkling that Chad might be into Cat, he might really enjoy using Cat to get under Chad’s skin. Of course, EJ’s not going to back down off the date. This whole thing might just excite him more.
And Cat does have feelings for Chad, but she knows she can’t act on them. EJ’s another matter, though, and he might be a fun distraction. Also, Cat and EJ may connect over their mutual hatred of Clyde Weston (James Read). And maybe Cat can’t resist EJ’s dimples, his charm, his good looks. And yes, Belle Black (Martha Madison) told him that she loved him. But, I don’t know if she’s going to stick with him. So, we’ll see. He may be fascinated by her and Cat may be tempted and we’ll see if all this pushes Chad to reconsider.
And don’t forget there’s a 60th anniversary photo shoot and one of the groups selected to be photographed together is EJ, Cat, and Chad. And all that 60th anniversary stuff is for events coming in November. So, it’s just kind of interesting they placed them together.
Sweet Surprise: Tate Plans Private Prom for Sophia on Days of Our Lives
Our third prediction. Tate Black throws a surprise little private prom for Sophia. On Friday, Sarah had told Sophia that since her blood pressure was high, that she had to quit her job, go on partial bed rest for her last trimester, and Mama Amy is insisting that her daughter follow doctor’s orders. But Sophia is totally bummed, especially about prom.
And on Tuesday the 6th, Sophia is upset and Tate tries to make her happy and lift her spirits in upcoming spoilers. So Sophia’s been hard hit just one thing after another. Adoption fell through. Now her college plans are hitting the skids because the adoption fell apart. Her future, Tate’s future, all so uncertain.
And Sophia did finally say yes to Tate about prom and she was super excited to have a little normalcy and to dress up and have a night with Tate, but now Sophia’s absolutely bummed. She’s got four maternity prom dresses to choose from. She could say yes to a dress, but can’t go with Tate to the prom. And Sophia may tell him to go without her. I just doubt he will.
But I can see Tate planning a little low-key private prom. Little lights, little dancing, some punch, just the two of them. I mean, he kind of owes her because at prom last year, Tate ruined Sophia’s prom night, if you remember, because he took her as a fake date and he sent Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). Everybody but Sophia knew the plan and she was completely crushed because she thought Tate had asked her on a real date.
Days of Our Lives Shocker: EJ Accuses Gabi to Shield Son Johnny
All right, our fourth prediction. EJ accuses Gabi to protect Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) last week. EJ saw Johnny on that little flash drive he took from Rafe’s camera and EJ saw his son holding a gun on him. So EJ tasked Rita with hiding the drive for safekeeping. And I do wonder if she’s going to leave EJ and then Rita takes a look because she’s intrigued before she stashes it away.
We also know that Gabi was at the Demar mansion the night that EJ was shot. She was lurking around. She was armed. And next week spoilers have Gabi a little upset that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) still seems to suspect Gabi and EJ is certain that Johnny shot him. Now I actually think there’s more to this story and that his memory is coming back in bits and pieces.
But because he thinks it, EJ decides he’s got to do anything he can to protect his son. And the best way to protect Johnny is somebody else to go down for the crime. He’s already told JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) that he couldn’t remember the night of the shooting. When JJ questioned EJ at the hospital, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) told JJ to, “Give him time.”
So now that EJ thinks he remembers Johnny shooting him, I could see him talking to JJ and saying he got his memory back and it was Gabi. And of course, EJ will do anything to make things up to Johnny who has said that his dad is dead to him. If he can keep him out of jail and toss Gabi in instead since EJ hates her, I could totally see it going that way.
Days of Our Lives Hero: Shawn Douglas Brady Takes the Fall for Drug Theft
Our fifth and final prediction. Speaking of prison, Shawn takes the fall for the drug theft to protect his loved ones. So, on Monday, May 6, Days of our Lives spoilers have Steve and Shawn firming up their plan to break into Dr. Russell’s lab, steal the medicine Bo Brady needs to treat his sepsis. And in the promo for the week, Kayla’s telling Steve they need to steal it now before it’s too late because Kayla knows Dr. Russell is planning to move his research to another facility.
Last week, Steve told Shawn that he should stay out of it. Because Steve thinks Shawn could be arrested. And that would ruin his career as a police officer. However, he’s not going to listen to Steve because Shawn feels so guilty and he feels like his dad Bo would do the same for him. So, and of course, we all know he’s been eaten up with guilt since he shot Bo.
Drugs Go Missing
The thing is that medicine goes missing. Dr. Russell is immediately going to think of Kayla because she was just begging him for the medication. And Steve tells Shawn they need to let Kayla in on the heist and she’s actually the most at risk to be accused. And Shawn feels like Bo wouldn’t be dying if not for him. He wouldn’t want his uncle Steve or aunt Kayla to go to jail if they were caught.
So, if it comes down to it, I do think Shawn would take the fall. He may think he has the least amount to lose. He is split up from Belle. Things aren’t heating up with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), kids out of town, so saving Bo’s life may feel to Shawn like the least that he owes his dad and could be his shot at redemption. So, yeah, I think Shawn might take the fall voluntarily.
