Has Xander gone too far this time? Kristen seems to think so, seeing as how the end of Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives had her pulling a gun on him — in DiMera! She’s understandably furious about the hostile takeover that happened while the Salem PD were holding her for 24 hours. But while she’s worried about her future, we’re worrying about Xander’s. It’s looking bleaker and bleaker.

Vivian wants Xander dead. Kristen wants Xander dead. Heck, Kristen pulled a gun on him. Shooting him after just being cleared in EJ’s shooting — in the DiMera CEO office, no less — would be incredibly short-sighted. Kristen’s not getting her company back that way.

But make no mistake: She’s determined to get it back. We know Xander’s about to refuse her demands, which is likely going to set Kristen on the warpath. She’ll want to destroy Xander, one way or another. And if that doesn’t mean with a gun, then Kristen’s going to start digging into other ways to end this Titan/DiMera takeover. If she finds out that Xander and Philip’s partnership is built on a lie, it’s game over — for them!

Maggie, meanwhile, is about to read Philip the riot act, we’re guessing for this Vivian fiasco. If that ends up with Vivian being tossed out, she’s going to be ticked… Possibly enough to blow this whole scheme up. This week, she manages to shock Xander, and after that, he goes after his brother. Neither of those teases are promising.

One way or another, it seems like this brotherly reunion is about to come crashing down — and Xander and Philip with it. Sarah worried from the start that her husband would do something drastic and violent when he found out that Philip (or rather, Vivian, for Philip) forged Victor’s supposed letter. And by drastic, she meant murder.

Back then, Xander may not have. But once he finds out how many people have lied to and betrayed him, including the wife who may have been able to talk him down, Sarah’s worries may come true. He can’t trust anyone, family, friend or his own wife.

And even if Kristen’s not the one to find out the truth and tell Xander, you can bet she’ll twist the knife in his back, hoping that he snaps. Neither Xander, nor Philip’s lives mean anything to her. If Philip ends up dead and Xander in jail, that’s about the best thing for Kristen.

So while we’re fairly certain Kristen won’t pull the trigger of her gun, the future definitely does not look bright for either Kiriakis brother; Xander or Philip. When this is all over, we could very well lose both.
