Joy Lies to Alex About Her Results, While Sarah and Philip Worry Over Stephanie Spilling Their Secret
Today on Days of Our Lives, Joy gets her pregnancy results back, Alex bonds with his cousins and Sarah and Stephanie agonize over their secrets.

On today’s Days of Our Lives, Stephanie’s working in the pub when Joy walks in and awkwardly joins her. Steph asks how her first day at Titan went. Mostly onboarding, so not much to it so far. Philip sent her home so he could have a meeting with Alex and Xander. Both of them are stumbling over their words and being weird, so they try clearing the air and moving forward.
But Stephanie can’t keep her thoughts to herself and just flat out tells Joy that she overheard Sarah talking about her pregnancy test. Joy’s resigned to her bad luck, but Stephanie says she hasn’t told Alex. Steph cautiously asks if Joy’s sure the hypothetical baby is Alex’s, which isn’t received well. But yes, it can only be Alex’s.
With that said, the test could still be negative. Joy pulls out her phone and gives Sarah a call to find out that the results are in. Stephanie asks if they’re positive, will she tell Alex, and Joy says that once she gets them, she’ll talk to Alex about them. No matter what they are. Joy just asks Steph to catch Alex up to speed for her first.
Sarah Worries About Alex Joining Titan
Maggie stops by the hospital with lemon bars for Sarah. Morale’s low right now, with not even enough money for coffee. Maggie brings up Alex returning to Titan, but Sarah’s worried about it ending in disaster. She assures Maggie that Xander doesn’t blame Alex for the birthright mixup, that it was all Theresa’s fault.
Maggie then makes a comment about Theresa being a fool to think her secret wouldn’t come out. They always come out. Maggie heads out, just as Joy calls asking if her results are in. Sarah checks and yes, they just came in.

Joy shows up, but before Sarah can go over the results with her, she has to run off to an emergency. So she just hands the results over to Joy, instead. Sarah runs off and Joy opens the results.
Alex and Xander Bring Philip Into the Fold
Back home, Alex, Xander and Philip toast to the three of them at Titan. Alex can tell something’s up, so the brothers fill him in on the DiMera takeover. Alex is dumbfounded and doubtful… but he’s in. “Let’s bring down the DiMeras.”
Philip has to clear the air, but of course it’s not about Xander, just friction with Alex and Stephanie. But they’re good now. Alex notes how great Xander and Philip are working together, and he almost believes they can pull it off. They then decide to make it a half day at work, because why not? (Must be nice.)

Once Alex is gone, though, Xander wants to know why Philip called an end to the family moment. He admits he’s worried about what Stephanie might say to Alex behind his back. Just general badmouthing, he claims, so Xander asks him to stop looking for problems where there aren’t any.
Xander gets a text from Wei saying everything’s lined up and as Philip is celebrating, Maggie pops in to get Victoria’s stuffed bunny, assuring them she’s not interested in their “secret plans.” She’s proud of them, though, and Victor would be, too. Cue Philip looking sad.
Stephanie heads home, where Alex meets her, happily telling her about his first day and reconnecting with Xander and Philip. Steph’s thrilled for him, but… It’s time to talk. About Joy. And her potential pregnancy. With his baby. Alex’s mouth drops open. He’s not sure what to do, but assures Stephanie that no matter what, he’s committed to her. Nothing will change that.
Javi Asks Leo to Move In
Leo’s working on his DiMera article, which Javi asks about. Legal flagged a bunch of sourcing problems, which are annoying Leo. Javi offers some info about EJ, saying it sounds like he’ll get away with everything. Without Arnold or Rafe’s memories, EJ gets off. So Javi suggests putting it in the article to pressure Belle into charging EJ.
Javi gives Rafe a call and gets some quotes for Leo, who thanks them both. Leo worries about needing protecting from the DiMeras, which is Javi’s cue to break out the flirting. There’s a knock at the door, which is room service, but when Leo lifts the plate lid, there’s a massive bill, instead of food.
Javi’s shocked to learn that Leo hasn’t paid his bill since Body and Soul fired him. He doesn’t have the money, so Javi has an idea. Maybe Leo should move in with him. Leo doesn’t think moving in with Rafe and Gabi is a great idea — especially since she hates him — but Javi is sure it’ll be fine. They’ve hardly been dating, but sure! Leo would love to. For a trial run, at least. He doesn’t want to mess up moving in together for real someday. They celebrate by moving over to the bed for a little lovin’.
Felicity Pushes Chad and Cat Together
Over at the Greenes, Felicity’s got her headphones on as she does homework, not hearing knocking at the door. Cat rushes out of the shower, only in a towel to answer instead, and it’s Chad to talk about the fundraiser. She rushes off to get dressed and Felicity wastes no time in telling Chad that Cat likes her — and if Chad’s forgiven her, “Now you can be together, right?”

Cat comes out, dressed, and asks what’s going on, and Chad tells her what Felicity said. Cat tries to deflect, then ushers Felicity away to do her homework. They start going over street fair plans and Cat asks Chad to sign up for the bachelor auction. He agrees, only if she signs up for the bachelorette auction. She doesn’t think she’s a great candidate, but Chad talks her into it.
They start teasing each other and getting flirty when debating whether or not to have clowns (Creepy or fun? Or both?), which is just when Felicity wanders back in to tell them they’re being so loud. Then she sits down and tells them they’re so happy together, they should be boyfriend and girlfriend. Chad and Cat just scoff awkwardly.
Joy Lies to Alex
In the show’s final moments, Sarah gets home to join Xander, Philip and Maggie. She needs to catch her breath after the crazy day at work, so Maggie and Xander head up to Victoria. Alone, she asks Philip how things went with Alex. Well enough, he says, but he’s worried about Stephanie crashing it all down. Sarah tells him that Steph’s happy with Alex and wouldn’t want anything to get in the way.
Just as he gets done saying that, Joy arrives with news that she’s not pregnant! False alarm! They’re all super relieved. She rushes out, and pulls out her results in the hall. They say she actually is pregnant. Joy just sighs.
