Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, December 29 to January 9, reveal that Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) and Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) will go wild while Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) makes a chaotic comeback. EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) fatal plan will also fail, so let’s discuss all the major storylines ahead.

During the week of December 29-January 2, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will join forces with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).

It sounds like Xander and Kate will be cooking up a plan to save Titan.

Over with Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien), she’ll have a scheme of her own underway and will give EJ updates on the news.

As for Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley), they’ll have a sweet reunion now that Tony’s free from the DiMera crypt.

Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will voice concerns to Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens), so he may worry about the risks of her pregnancy and whether they can handle another baby so soon after adopting Trey DiMera.

Some resentment is on the way for Chanel since she’ll probably feel like Johnny is raining on her parade.

Chanel is pleased about a chance at another baby and may push Johnny to get on board.

While Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) have an uncomfortable encounter, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will visit Peter Blake’s (Dan Gauthier) hospital bedside and contemplate whether to take him off life support.

EJ will think Kristen needs to take Peter off the ventilator ASAP and end this threat to the DiMera family for good.

However, Peter will ultimately regain consciousness and breathe on his own, so EJ won’t get the fatal outcome he wants.

As for Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), Days spoilers say they’ll reach an agreement.

It sounds like that may involve some legal details related to Kristen’s recanted confession and Rachel’s desire to tell the truth about the shooting.

While Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) surprises Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) with a delayed Christmas gift, Rachel and Sophia will get a surprise of their own thanks to some visitors at Bayview.

Days spoilers say that’ll shake things up for Sophia and Rachel on New Year’s Eve while Gwen deals with some frustration over her plan.

Gwen will eventually arrive for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) wedding, which Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will officiate.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Days wedding without some twists and turns!

DOOL fans can expect Dimitri to return on January 2, which is the same day that Leo and Javi’s marriage ceremony will get underway.

Is some wedding crasher drama brewing?

Even if Dimitri doesn’t show up until after Javi and Leo tie the knot, his presence is sure to make a splash in Salem.

Since Gwen and EJ made Dimitri disappear, perhaps Gwen will decide it’s time to bring him back as a distraction for Leo, who won’t stop digging into the shady hospital wing.

It’s also possible that Dimitri will escape from wherever he’s been held hostage and throw even Gwen for a loop.

Whatever the case, Dimitri may assure Leo that he never wanted to be apart as the action heats up during the week of January 5-9.

The letter Dimitri sent was presumably a fake, so he may profess that he’s still in love with Leo.

Although Leo will insist his devotion is to Javi now, Dimitri will still plant a kiss on him soon.

Back with Peter, he’ll lash out at Kristen when she tries to plead for forgiveness.

Peter will consider her a traitor and will order her out of his hospital room instead.

As for Rachel and Sophia, they no doubt have another big adventure brewing.

Rachel is hoping she can tag along the next time Sophia goes on a little field trip outside Bayview.

Both Sophia and Rachel seem poised to escape the mental facility and spark some panic, especially if Sophia decides it’s finally time to target Chanel and Johnny.

That could endanger Chanel’s unborn child and potentially leave Trey vulnerable to kidnapping.
