Hope was devastated when Thomas decided to break things off and leave for France with Douglas.

Since Hope couldn’t give Thomas the marriage proposal answer he wanted, Thomas chose to leave town with their son.

Of course, Thomas caused more pain for Hope when he came home engaged to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).

You can bet Thomas regrets rushing into that rebound relationship now that his engagement is over.

Part of Thomas may be wishing he’d shown Hope a little more patience and understanding.

If Thomas had just been willing to wait, he might be married to Hope right now!

Thomas may ultimately find himself haunted by what might’ve been, especially since he’s not in a good frame of mind right now.

When Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) inevitably split, that’s going to mess with Thomas’ head even more.

B&B spoilers say Thomas will find himself desperate for some happiness, so he may fall back into his old Hope fixation.

It’s easy to imagine Thomas finding out Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is trying to steal Hope away from Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Thomas may decide he should be the one to steal Hope back instead, so that could lead to some bold moves.

Liam has been pushing Hope to reunite and make their family with Beth Spencer (Jordyn Gracie) whole again.

Thomas could make a similar pitch if he perhaps plants a kiss on Hope and pushes for a family reunion with Douglas.

Maybe Thomas could admit he was wrong to pressure Hope into marriage and promise they don’t have to tie the knot anytime soon.

Thomas might insist all he needs is Hope by his side and play up how much Douglas’ misses her, too.
