It’s a new day in Port Charles.

A shirtless Nathan brings breakfast to Lulu in her living room, which they abandon to head back to bed. Later, they head back downstairs, and Nathan remains shirtless, which Lulu doesn’t complain about.

Sadly, Nathan eventually puts on his shirt, and there is a knock at the door. It’s Cullum, who definitely is a mood killer. Lulu invites him in, and he meets Nathan for the first time as they introduce themselves. Or are they claiming not to know one another?

Cullum wants to talk to Charlotte, but Lulu says she’s not available, and Jack already spoke to her. Nathan says the PCPD has been surveilling Charlotte, and there is no evidence that Valentin has been in contact with her. Cullum thanks them, says he will talk to Jack, and then leaves.

Lulu tells Nathan that the guy is a creep, and sadly, he has broken the romantic spell and the imaginary world they were in temporarily in and brought them back to the real world. However, Nathan tells Lulu this is only the beginning for them.

Ava Warns Lucas

At the hospital, Ava drops by with coffee for Lucas, but also to warn him that she believes Carly is plotting to make him choose between her and Marco. Lucas tells his aunt that if Carly is trying to break him and Marco up, well, he has no intention of letting that happen. Ava eventually takes off, and Lucas wonders where Marco is, as he was expecting him with the meds.

Carly’s Unwanted Visitor

At Carly’s, Brennan drops by unannounced, and Carly admits she was hoping he might be Joss. She explains they had a big fight about Sonny, who Joss blames for a number of past transgressions, wants to see him brought to justice, and she doesn’t care how it happens.

Carly blames herself for this, for bringing Sonny into Joss’ life, for rationalizing who he is, which put her children in danger. Jack knows it can be hard to see the person you love clearly. Carly adds, “And when people aren’t who you think they are, it’s probably because they aren’t being honest, and that’s not real love.”

Brennan tells Carly that he hates that his job prevents him from fully telling her the truth. Jack admits he’s a flawed man and isn’t enough of a partner to her, but he loves her. Carly says, “Sometimes when you love someone, you have to risk being honest.”

That’s when they’re interrupted, and Jack gets a text, clearly work. Carly, sniffling, tells him that he should go. He departs, and she doesn’t look at him as he leaves. A tear runs down her cheek.

Britt Gets a Visitor

Joss sneaks into Britt’s room at Bobbie’s through the window, causing Britt to wonder why the spy types like the fire escape so much; do they fancy they are ninjas? Joss sees Britt is packing and asks if she’s going somewhere. Britt snaps that she doesn’t have time to discuss this with her. Joss knows Cullum is a double agent and working on the same project she is, so is he moving her?

Britt gives Joss a “no duh, Cullum is a bad guy, I’m the one who told your boss!” Joss just wants to make sure Britt doesn’t let it slip that she’s an agent, as Cullum would have her killed, which would kill her mom.

Britt asks why Cullum would even be paying attention to Joss? Joss explains she ran into him during the blizzard when she was searching Wyndemere. She says Cullum thinks she’s just a PCU student, so don’t blow her cover. Britt says she’ll keep her mouth shut, as they both want Cullum stopped.

Mission Accomplished for Marco

At Wyndemere, Pascal warns Sidwell once again of the danger Lucas poses, which Sidwell is tired of hearing. He says Pascal’s crush on Marco is embarrassing. That’s when Marco enters.

Sidwell excuses Pascal, and Marco presents his father with some contracts to sign. Sidwell knows his son is still waiting for his mother’s death to be avenged and assures his son that Sonny will be taken out. He also knows living here has put a strain on his relationship with Lucas, but he thanks him for staying on.

Sidwell finishes signing contracts and then says he has to head to The Metro Court to meet Ava. Alone, Marco swipes two of the bottles of medication from the safe and takes off.

After he’s gone, Pascal opens the safe and finds the bottles of medication missing, and says, “Well, Mr. Sidwell, I cannot say I did not warn you.” He then calls Cullum to tell him that two vials are missing and warned him and Sidwell that Lucas would be a problem. Cullum says he’ll take care of it…

Custody of Danny

At the Metro Court, Tracy gets a text from Olivia calling a family meeting. Alexis arrives to meet with Tracy, who wants them to sort out the mess Jason’s made of the situation with Danny. Alexis wants Danny to live with her and stay with Scout, as Sam wanted the kids together, but Tracy, as a Quartermaine, feels the boy should live with her.

Across the restaurant, Ava shows up and meets Jenz, but has no new art deals to talk about. Instead, she is concerned that Carly is manipulating him, Marco, and Lucas to break up the lovebirds. Sidwell assures her that his eyes are wide open. That’s when Carly walks in.

Back at the hospital, Lucas gets a text from Marco that he got the meds.

Jason Brings Out the Big Guns

Jason heads to a secret garage and retrieves a sniper rifle. As he puts it together and packs a bag with guns, he flashes back to many conversations he’s had over the past few weeks. He eventually heads out, recalling his promise to kill Jack should anything happen to Carly.

In the Show’s Final Moments

At the Metro Court, Carly greets Jenz and Ava and tells Jenz they should put the dinner party they discussed on the calendar for Friday. Jenz says that sounds perfect, and Ava gives him a look.

Across the restaurant, Tracy gets another text from Olivia demanding she come home, as Alexis tells her arguing over Danny is pointless, as Jason has spoken to Diane and they’ll have to accept Jason’s decision on guardianship.

At home, Lulu and Nathan hug, as they can’t bear to part. Nathan, however, has an odd look on his face.

Marco arrives at the hospital with the meds and hands them over to Lucas. He urges him to get them to Britt before someone realizes they are gone. Marco reminds him that once it’s figured out who took them, his dad will protect him.

As she’s about to leave Britt’s, Joss asks Britt if Cullum knew her dad. Britt wonders why she’s asking? Joss tells her about Faison’s book and cigarillos in Cullum’s jacket. Britt has no idea why Cullum had them, but her dad is dead. All that is left of him is his brain in a jar, four kids, and the Huntington’s she inherited. Yes, yes, she says, four kids! Who is child number four?

Finally, as Cullum is meeting with Jack at his office,  Jason is outside on the roof of the building across the way with his gun targeted at the men through a window. He wavers back and forth between the two.
