At the Quartermaines, Brook Lynn returns from the hospital, where she had been sitting with Pheobe, the name she’s given Baby Jane Doe. Brook Lynn asks a totally waxed and spray-tanned Chase if there are any new leads on Delilah, but the PCPD is making slow progress.

Brook Lynn asks what will happen to Phoebe if they can’t find her family before she’s released from the hospital, and Chase explains she’ll go to foster care. Brook Lynn hates that, as she promised Delilah she’d look after her baby, so she thinks they should take her.

Chase asks if she wants to adopt Phoebe. Brook Lynn doesn’t (yet, we know that’s coming!). She just wants to care for her until they find her family. Chase says he’s in because it will give them more practice before they can adopt a child of their own. They climb into bed, and Brook Lynn says she’ll call Felicia tomorrow to get the ball rolling.

Jason Says Another Goodbye

Jason finds Danny making a sandwich in the kitchen and joins his son. Danny relays the good news that he’s finally able to see Scout, who, unfortunately, has had to move back in with her dad again.

Jason gets right to the point and asks his son what he’d think about living with Alexis, as he must leave town to help a friend for a while, and he doesn’t know when he’ll be back.

Jason knows this isn’t fair to his son. Danny understands his dad is leaving him again, because if someone needs his help, he has to help them. It’s what mom would do. Danny asks if he can come with his dad, but Jason refuses because it will be dangerous and Danny has school. He asks his dad to promise he’ll come back.

Jason promises he’ll come back, and hopefully, he’ll only be gone a month or two. He has named Alexis his guardian, and Tracy, Michael and Carly will check in on him. They then dig into the monstrous double-decker meat, cheese and chip sandwiches Danny made.

The Third Wheel

At Lulu’s, she’s set up a romantic dinner for her and Nathan, who arrives with James in tow. Obviously, this was not what she was expecting.

Nathan explains that Maxie had to work, and Georgie has a big test and can’t watch Bailey Lu and James at the same time, because the boy is a walking accident. Nathan offers to reschedule, but Luu refuses. James runs over to the table, immediately digs into the appetizers, and knocks over the bottle of wine.

James apologizes, and Lulu says accidents happen. James smells something smoky, and Lulu runs to find her chicken burnt to a crisp.

Nathan apologizes profusely, but Lulu says they can still have fun. She knows a place where they can eat pizza and play arcade games. Hey Lulu, would said place be one where “A kid can be a kid?”

Nathan notes it’s not that the romantic evening she planned, but she just wants to spend time with him. That’s when James accidentally spills water all over Lulu’s phone… James stole the show today, making Lulu and Nathan actually fun!

Lulu and Nathan return home after pizza. James called Felicia to pick him up when he realized he was crashing their date. As it’s late, Nathan has to get going and gives her a peck on the cheek, then takes off. Lulu is about to go upstairs, but rushes to her door, opens it, and finds Nathan standing there about to knock.

Marco Isn’t Great at this Bad Guy Thing

At Wyndemere, Marco goes to try to get Britt’s meds from the safe, only to be caught by Cullum, who is holding them. Cullum says he was just refilling the supply, and Marco claims he was going to prepare her shot. Cullum calls him out as it’s Pascal’s day. Marco claims he got the days confused.

Cullum notes they need to be more careful, as this medication is the only thing keeping Britt in line. Marco changes the subject to his request to have Sonny removed. Cullum explains that once the prototype is completed, they can revisit the topic of Sonny.

Is Liz Making a Mistake?

At the Port Charles Grill, Ric tells Liz he wants to build a relationship with his brother, but with her as well. Does she see a future for them? That’s when Lucas arrives and interrupts, and Liz uses the opportunity to talk to Lucas about an urgent work matter.

There is no work matter; the nurse just needs advice, as Ric wants to try for a relationship again, but he’s also bringing Sonny back into his life, which has the chance of turning ugly. Lucas points out how many times Ric has burned her, but he’s one to talk, given the situation with Marco. Lucas says if he could give Marco a second chance, maybe she should try with Ric.

Luiz rejoins Ric and agrees to try to see where this goes. However, they will have to learn to trust one another. Ric has a confession: that digital detox he went on … there wasn’t one. He begins to discuss the sticky situation with Alexis and Ava, and that it’s all behind them. Liz cuts him off, as she thinks she’s better off not knowing, and that he was willing to tell him the truth is all she needs.

Is Marco In Trouble?

Marco shows up to meet Lucas and informs him that he failed to get the meds and got caught by Cullum in the process. Lucas worries that Cullum and Sidwell will suspect him when the meds go missing. Marco says his dad would never harm him, but he might cut him out of his life. Lucas sympathizes due to his own complicated relationship with Julian.

Brad and Britt No More?

Britt and Brad meet for drinks at The Brown Dog. Britt breaks the news to her bestie that she’s going to be leaving town, as Cullum and Sidwell are forcing her hand to create their prototype. Brad asks about her meds, and she shocks him by revealing that Lucas is helping her reverse-engineer them.

Brad asks why Lucas would help her, seeing that he hates her, and she tells him the whole story about Marco working for his dad, but agreeing to help them for Lucas’ sake. Brad is glad Lucas is helping Britt, though he can’t believe Marco got a second chance, and he didn’t. Oh, Brad, you got more than a second chance!

Brad is also upset when he learns she’s leaving with Jason, and their breakup was a ruse. She says she is telling him now, as she didn’t want to leave again with a lie hanging over their heads. Brad is still upset, as no matter how much Jason hurts her, she can’t stay away from him.

Britt says Jason has promised not to leave her this time, but Brad says that until Carly breaks a nail and the hitman goes running back to her. Brad made a funny! Britt insists this time he won’t do that, and he has always been clear with her and never misled her. Brad isn’t sold.

In the Show’s Final Moments

Lulu asks Nathan if he forgot something, but he notes she’s the one who opened the door before he could knock. They smile, and he picks Lulu up and takes her up to bed. I guess they aren’t taking it slow anymore!

In bed, Brook Lynn and Chase get down to sexy time.

At the Grill, Liz tells Ric that for now, they should keep things fun and easy. Ric says deal, they shake on it, and then steal a quick kiss.

In the Q kitchen, Danny asks if his dad will be here tomorrow afternoon, as his basketball team is in the finals. Jason promises to be there, and they hug.

At The Brown Dog, Brad refuses to stick around and watch Britt get her heart broken by Jason again. He’s done, throws money down on the table for the drinks, and walks out.

Marco and Lucas head out, and Lucas shows him a house listing for a place by the lake, which Marco thinks is perfect. Marco can’t wait until this is over and they can have a fresh start.

Finally, at Wyndemere, Cullum puts the meds in the safe and calls Pascal to get on the same page with Marco regarding the injection schedule. The crooked WSB agent learns that Pascal had talked to Marco about the schedule that morning…

On the next General Hospital, Ava gives Lucas a warning, Joss learns Britt is leaving town, and Jason readies his sniper rifle!
