Dante and Cody return to the stables after a basketball game, and Cody asks his friend how and when he knew Lulu was the one? Dante is a bit surprised by the question, but admits it was the first time he saw her at The Floating Rib. Ahh, don’t we all miss that place!

Dante asks if this is about Molly. Cody tells him about her endometriosis scare, which freaked him out, but made him realize how much he cares about her. Cody wants to help Molly, but he just doesn’t know how.

Their talk turns to Lulu and Nathan, which Dante is still shaken up about. Dante reflects on how everything went wrong for him and Lulu. He thought that when he returned to Port Charles from getting treatment for his PTSD, they’d pick up where they left off, but Lulu had moved on.
Are Molly and Cody Already Over?
Kristina returns home to find Molly resting on the couch, and the pain killer is the doctor gave her is finally kicking in. Molly says she told Cody about her condition, but Kristina wonders if she also told him what it means.

Molly knows endometriosis changed her life, and was ultimately why she and TJ broke up. She doesn’t know if kids are on Cody’s radar, but she sees how great he is with them, especially his bond with James. Molly knows she’ll have to tell him at some point that kids aren’t a possibility for her. She fears telling Cody could scare him off. Kristina doubts Cody will scare that easily, and it’s obvious how much he cares about her.

It’s Carly’s Turn to Advise Lulu
Carly drops by Lulu’s, as she called her over to tell her that she and Nathan are seeing one another. The trouble is, Lulu says Maxie told her if she dated Nathan, then they couldn’t be friends, so how does she save their friendship?
Lulu admits she also talked to Tracy about this, and she told her not to live her life on Maxie’s terms. Still, Lulu knows she shouldn’t let a guy come between her and her best friend.

Carly agrees if Nathan is “just a guy.” But is he “just a guy?” Lulu admits he’s not, and they could have something real. Carly says that if Maxie can’t handle it, it’s not her fault.
Their talk turns to Charlotte, and the problems Lulu is having with her. Carly advises Lulu that perhaps Charlotte wouldn’t lie to her if she felt she had her trust.

Later, after Carly has left, Lulu calls Charlotte down. Lulu explains she had a fight with Maxie and wants to fix things. She’s allowing Charlotte to stay here on her own, but needs her to pick up Rocco from the hospital later.

Maxie Stakes Her Claim
Nathan brings James home to Maxie’s. After James has a juice box and takes off to his room, Maxie takes advantage of the opportunity to grill Nathan. She wonders that night in the cemetery, when they reconnected, if he was relieved she chose Spinelli, and what he would have done had she chosen him.
Nathan insists he would have made it work, not out of obligation but out of love. He loves her and always will. However, he woke up the father of a seven-year-old, Maxie wasn’t there, and Lulu helped him connect with his son. It was never their intention to develop feelings or hurt her.

Maxie says what hurts is that she doesn’t understand how he could have moved on in just six months, when she grieved him for so long. Nathan explains that he and Lulu aren’t in love, and they were only just beginning to discuss what was happening between them when Maxie came back.
Nathan insists that he and Lulu already agreed to end things when she woke up, and they didn’t tell her so as not to hurt her. Eventually, Nathan loses a bit of his cool and says, “You picked Spinelli, what am I supposed to do. Stay alone for the rest of my life?” Maxie tells him she wants him to be happy, just not with Lulu. “Lulu is mine,” Maxie tells him.
Britt’s Goodbye Tour
At the hospital, Britt pulls Rocco aside to say goodbye to him for her mom, who left for a medical conference. Rocco knows as Obrecht texted him. Rocco tells her that both she and her mother have been awesome. Britt notes her mother doesn’t open her heart to anyone, but he made it easy by just being himself. It’s clear that Britt is saying goodbye to Rocco using her mother as a cover.

Rocco gets back to work, but not before giving Britt a hug. Britt gets emotional, and she and Lucas talk privately in a break room. Lucas admits she’s changed; she’s still a pain in the ass, but she’s risking everything to stop Sidwell and Cullum. He tells her she’s a hero, which is why she belongs in Rocco’s life, in spite of what Lulu might think.

Britt tells Lucas it’s bad enough she is grateful to him for what he’s doing for her, don’t make her admire him too. He smiles. Britt asks Lucas to look after Rocco while she’s gone, and he says he will. Britt jokes that Brad’s head would explode if he knew they were working together. Hey, where the heck is Brad anyway?

Jason Lays Down the Law
Jason bursts into Carly’s attic, gun drawn, and orders Valentin to convince him that he’s not going to hurt Carly. Jason puts his gun down, and Valentin explains that working with Carly and keeping her safe is in his best interest, as Carly is his chance to take Brennan down and clear his name. Valentin tells Jason, “You know I always look out for number one!”

Jason lets him in on the fact that Cullum is working with Sidwell, which complicates things, making pinning Sidwell’s crimes on Jack a bit more difficult. Jason admits that Carly working with him is better than her going up against Jack on her own. He says that if anything happens to Carly, there will be no place for Valentin to hide from him. Jason then leaves.
Jason Says His Goodbyes
Carly arrives home later and finds Jason sitting in her kitchen. He assures her that Valentin is still alive. She asks what is going on, and he explains he’s there to say goodbye. He and Britt have to leave, and he can’t tell her where they are going.
Jason feels like he’s deserting her, but she cries, “You are trusting me, and I can’t tell you how much I love you for it.” Carly says she’ll be here when he gets back, and he promises he will be back.

Meanwhile, Charlotte manages to sneak into the attic to see her dad, and promises she was careful. However, she needed to fill him in about Nina and Jack Brennan’s latest meeting, and she had decided to lie to Nina about where he is to throw Brennan off his trail.
In the Show’s Final Moments
In her kitchen, Carly asks Jason what he’ll tell Danny. He admits he’s not sure yet. Carly suggests he tell Danny he’s leaving, doesn’t know when he’s coming back, and that he loves him. She then cries, “Stay safe.” He asks the same of her. They embrace.
In the attic, Valentin appreciates his daughter’s offer, but they should stick to the story that he hasn’t heard from him. She asks about his plans, and he tells her that if everything works out, he won’t have to leave town and go back on the run.
In the stables, Dante tells Cody not to hold back with Molly and miss out on his shot at happiness.
At their home, Molly tells Kristina that if she and Cody are going to have a shot at a relationship, then she has to tell him she doesn’t want kids.

Finally, Nathan says to Maxie, “What, you own Lulu?” Maxie doesn’t, but if he and Lulu have one another, who does she have? That’s when there is a knock at the door, and it’s Lulu!
On the next General Hospital, Chase tells Dante he wants to find Baby Jane Doe’s family. Sonny asks Gio to do something for him. Maxie cries to Lulu, “That changes how I feel about us!”
