Today on The Young and the Restless, the Abbotts take Phyllis on a guilt trip, Nick and Sharon stun Adam, and a Nikki and Victor confrontation looms.

Sharon and Nick arrive at Chelsea and Adam’s place and tell him they need his help. Adam guesses this is about Matt Clark. Sharon and Nick explain he’s been sending taunting texts.
They tell Adam that Sienna looked into Matt’s drug-dealing and uncovered a connection to a drug ring in Vegas helmed by a woman named Riza. Sharon recalls that Adam was card-sharking for her as Spyder.
Adam’s stunned and paces the room. He never knew Riza was involved with drugs. He wants to help, even if it means revisiting that time in his life. Sharon recalls that Riza’s last name was Thompson. Adam doesn’t remember an address. Shaking Nick’s hand, he offers back-up if he needs it.
Billy Updates Sally
Sally arrives at Billy’s place and learns that he got proof that Victor took Jack. He explains that he’s leaving as they have a lead to follow. Sally’s frustrated to hear that Phyllis is dragging her feet. Billy recaps that he doesn’t have Chancellor, so Jack’s life is in Victor or Phyllis’ hands.
Billy fills Sally in on the SUV with a marina sticker on the windshield. It’s their only lead and they’ll follow it. Sally offers to come, but he wants her safe at home. Billy tells her she was right about Victor retaliating. Shocker! Billy makes a heartfelt speech about Jack and hopes Phyllis will come through. He promises to call and they kiss.
Nikki Explodes
Nikki confronts Phyllis in Society to ask what Victor’s not telling her. The redhead assures her that she doesn’t have to worry… Victor will take care of her no matter who gets hurt in the process. Nikki wants to know why Phyllis is considering giving Chancellor back. What is it she doesn’t know? And why is she negotiating with Victor after stealing his companies?
Phyllis claims she decided it was unfair to take everything. If Victor’s not giving her the full story, it’s because he doesn’t want her to know. Fuming, Nikki demands she tell her what is going on.
Phyllis tries to end the conversation, but Nikki gets the information anyway when Diane and Kyle roll in and ask Phyllis if she made the deal to free Jack. They tell her he’s been kidnapped and Victor’s responsible.
Nikki gawps as Diane and Kyle explain that Jack was abducted from the car park and they were sent a photo of him unconscious. They then go in on Phyllis for stalling on handing over Chancellor. Diane asks if she wants her to beg her to save her husband.

Nikki watches as Phyllis claims that she has no idea what Diane is talking about; Victor simply made an offer for Chancellor. Nikki announces she’s going home to find out what’s going on as Diane reminds her Jack nearly died for her once. La Newman tells Phyllis to accept Victor’s terms; she’ll see to it that he follows through. Billy enters as Nikki storms out.
Adam’s Past
Back at Crimson Lights, Sharon tells Nick they should use Adam as a resource. Nick’s uncomfortable asking him to do this, but Sharon thinks he wants to help his brother. Nick would hate to see him risk his progress to help them get rid of Matt.
At home, Adam flashes back to Sharon trying to convince him to come back to the Newman family when he was Spyder. Chelsea comes in with an update on Connor’s baseball game and admits she’s worried about Adam. He confesses that he’s worried about facing that part of his life and dredging up the Old Adam. Here’s why he absolutely should.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon thinks about describing Adam’s complex relationship with Victor to him when he was Spyder. She and Nick go over him losing his memory in the cabin explosion. Sharon’s sure he’s strong enough to handle some old memories. They look forward to putting an end to Matt’s reign of terror.
The Final Scenes
At Society, Billy implores Phyllis to hand Chancellor over to him. She reveals that she pushed Victor to make the deal with her, but he’s changed the terms. He wants everything back now. Diane rants, “So what?! Jack’s life could be on the line! Make the deal! Give Victor everything!”
Phyllis isn’t about to be bullied. Victor won’t do anything to Jack unless he’s out of options. Diane and Kyle erupt. Billy reminds Phyllis that Jack would do this for her. They stalk out to follow up on their lead, with Diane warning if anything happens to Jack, it’s on Phyllis.

At Adam’s place, he can’t get over the weird connection between his past and Matt Clark. Is this a thread he wants to pull on? It could drag them all down into that monster’s hell.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon worries about Nick putting himself in danger. He fumes that Matt’s texts to Noah have been relentless; he needs to be stopped. Suddenly, Nick gets a text. Sharon wants to see, but he warns the messages are getting worse. He’s not afraid to do what it takes to get Matt Clark out of their lives for good!

Nikki slams into the ranch and calls out for Victor. She shouts that the Abbotts just told her that he has Jack and all about the deal that he’s trying to make with Phyllis. She mutters, “And now, you’re going to have to deal with me.”
