Today on Days of Our Lives, EJ tells Paulina (almost) everything, Javi calls Leo and Gwen and Gabi both have questions for Melinda.

We pick back up with EJ opening the pod to show Paulina Lexie. He recaps Lexie’s tumors and Stefano’s guilt. Before Stefano died, he set a plan in motion — Dr. Rolf froze Lexie’s body until they could come up with a cure. They have one now, with this secret project.
EJ Gives Paulina a Choice
Paulina’s furious. “This is criminal! Contemptible!” But EJ lays out her problem. Turn him in for every law he’s broken and ruin the resurrection or let them save Lexie. It’s a low blow, and Paulina calls him on it. She knows he wants to sell this technology to the highest bidder.

EJ just asks if she’s willing to pull the plug, especially since Lexie’s waking will change everything for her. She storms out after he teases her a bit about stopping this miracle. “Miracles don’t come from the devil!” Once she’s gone, EJ’s Phoenix ring hand starts shaking and he forcefully steadies it.
Can Leo Win Javi Over?
It’s morning in Alamainia, and as Dimitri’s starting the day with a shower, Javi finally calls! Leo tells him that he misses him so, so much. Javi thanks him for all the space Leo gave him (forced, as Leo says, but sure), and in the end, he realized how much he misses Leo.
Leo’s nearly overcome with relief. But Javi asks again: Can Leo fully commit and be fully over Dimitri? Leo tries avoiding the latter part of the question, then tries to vague up where he is and what he’s doing. It works… until Dimitri comes out of the shower and asks who he’s talking to!
“Oh my God. Are you with Dimitri right now?” Well, there goes that hope. Javi hangs up..
Will Gwen Flip Melinda?
Gwen summons Melinda to steal her divorce services from Dimitri. Dimitri, Gwen says, is never coming back from Alamainia. Plus, his going on the run voided their contract — but Melinda’s still not keen betting on broke Gwen winning.

“If you walk away from this,” Gwen tries, “you’re making a really big mistake. And an enemy.” But we all know Melinda isn’t cowed easily, so she walks out. No one else wants to take Gwen’s case, either, which puts her in a foul mood when EJ gets home. But he’s in an even fouler one. EJ screams in Gwen’s face, then tells her about Paulina.
Does Gabi Want Stefan’s Money?
Gabi flags Theo down in the square, so they sit and have a beer, talking a bit about their respective strengths and why they get along so well. Once Stephanie’s safe, Gabi would love to try a double date with Theo and Jada again. They have a lovely time, we learn Gabi hates beer, and Theo leaves promising a ride in his convertible sometime.

Melinda then walks by, so Gabi tells her Stefan’s divorce papers may have been forged. If they’re still married, she’s entitled to his inheritance. If Gabi wants to go there. She’s not letting his snake of a family cut Stefan out again. But as Melinda says, she needs proof.
Abe’s About to Be Torn
Roman and Abe are talking in the Pub when Abe brings up Lexie. He’s been thinking about Lexie a lot since Theo got pulled into DiMera. Abe breaks down, saying Paulina’s healed him, but Lexie is still in his heart. Well… things are about to get interesting, Abe, buddy. And it’s probably going to be far worse than he could ever imagine.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Javi calls Gabi, demands to know why no one told him where Leo is and who he’s with, then declares them done. To his credit, Dimitri tries not to act too excited when Leo hints that it might be time to let Javi go.
Gwen is horrified by what EJ did, but he insists Paulina wouldn’t want Lexie’s blood on her hands. If he’s wrong, “we have other subjects waiting.” And when Gwen clarifies, “You’ll let your sister die?” EJ says she already died. No matter what, the work must continue.
Abe and Theo get back with dinner from the Pub, followed shortly by a shell shocked Paulina. She promises Abe she’s fine after her confrontation with EJ, but she doesn’t tell him what’s actually going on. EJ was right.
