In the showroom, Electra’s still sniveling to Daphne about Will and the letter. Daphne flashes to Ivy putting the letter in her purse, but, inexplicably, doesn’t tell the upset young woman.

Daphne, clearly Team Electra, cryptically vows to do whatever she can to help her.

In the design office, RJ’s intrigued to hear that Ivy doesn’t believe Will is right for Electra either. She recaps her grievances with the Will and Dylan situation, noting she feels fiercely protective of her niece. No kidding!

RJ lists off the reasons he’s into Electra, though doesn’t include that she is his cousin. He confides in Ivy that he fears he made a mistake by kissing Electra. Yeah, macking on someone when they’re crying about someone else isn’t the slickest move. Ivy, nonetheless, urges him to keep up the good work and says Electra could use someone like him around.

Stay or Go?

At the beach house, Will tells Dylan he’s certain RJ was kissing Electra. She asks what he’ll do. Will’s angry and hurt… he wanted to hit RJ, but he didn’t given that beating the boss’ son’s ass would have got him fired. Besides, Electra didn’t have to kiss him.

Dylan feels responsible, but Will stands by his choice to let her live there. He thought Electra would too given that she’s her friend. Dylan and Will agree that Ivy misinterpreted everything. Will shrugs that Electra still kissed another guy… he can’t blame Ivy for that. (Well, we’ll see about that).

Taking her bag, Will tells Dylan she doesn’t have to go now, but swears her to secrecy about RJ and Electra kissing. He’s still dumbfounded that his girlfriend abandoned them and turned to the Forrester.

The Confrontation

Back at Forrester, Daphne corners Ivy in the design office and muses that Electra’s upset over a letter. Unsurprisingly, Ivy doesn’t want to discuss it. Cutting to the chase, Daphne blurts, “I saw you taking that letter meant for Will Spencer. What are you up to, Ivy?”

Meanwhile, RJ pesters Electra in the showroom about how she’s doing. He wants to “be there” for her. Electra starts in about Will again, and RJ wastes no time in touching her face. As he makes her vaguely uncomfortable, he insists he won’t make her feel uncomfortable again. Electra concedes that he’s being very kind, before wailing, “Why is this happening?”

Back in the design office, Ivy’s abandoned any plans for denying Daphne’s accusations and insists her niece deserves better than Will Spencer… like, the office playboy. Daphne argues that taking the letter wasn’t right. In her ickiest move yet, Ivy complains that Will “slept with someone else” the night before Electra gave herself to him. First of all, she’s way too involved, second, Will was raped!

Daphne insists the young ‘uns should be able to figure this out without interference. Ivy protests that Will has another woman living on his property and none of it is proper! Suddenly, she decides that she doesn’t have to justify herself to Daphne. “Just stay out of it!” she orders.

Daphne is only looking out for Electra and points out that Ivy is directly related to her niece’s heartbreak. Ivy informs her that Will Spencer is highly inappropriate. Daphne argues that she’s devastated and if she knew… Ivy cuts her off, “Don’t you dare tell anyone about this, Daphne.”

The Final Scenes

At the beach house, Will decides it’s finally time to reach out to Electra. He tells her he’s not coming in today and vaguely refers to last night being painful. Suddenly, Electra hears Dylan in the background. Will tells her he loves her but he can’t deal with this. Electra loves him too but has to do. She disconnects and removes her necklace.

Ivy comes in, and Electra tells her Will’s spending his day off with Dylan. Twisting the knife, Ivy wonders if she’ll be wearing her dance costume or her bathing suit. “This is not proper. This is not proper at all!” Ivy exclaims, before telling her niece she can always count on her. Daphne watches from the doorway and thinks, “It’s not right. Ivy’s manipulating the whole thing. It’s not right.”

Back at the beach house, Dylan sits beside Will and tries to comfort him. He lets her take him in her arms. She says, “I’m here for you, Will.”
