Days of Our Lives Spoilers Wednesday, January 21: Chad’s Custody Decision – Thomas Blames Himself – Marlena’s Encounter

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, January 21, reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will face a custody decision while Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) blames himself. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will also have an encounter in the town square, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on Days.

First on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Thomas will hold himself responsible for all the anger that’s been erupting for the adults.

Days spoilers say Thomas will open up to Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark), who’ll assure Thomas that it’s not his fault.

Jeremy will have some good advice for Thomas, who may get some encouragement when it comes to confiding in Chad next.

Chad needs to know where Thomas currently stands on this whole custody mess so he can decide what’s best for their family.

Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Chad will sit down with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) on Wednesday’s show.

The three of them will work with a mediator to see if they can reach an agreement about custody of both Thomas and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron).

Even if it takes some work to get on the same page, there’s a path to peace here if they look hard enough.

It’ll be interesting to see how this mediation turns out, so stay tuned for updates on any big custody news to come.

As for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia), they’ll have a girls’ day out and bump into Marlena.

It looks like Marlena will be on her way to Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) bereavement book club when she encounters the sisters.

Once Marlena heads on her way, Cat will ultimately use Felicity as a confidant.

Felicity may quiz Cat about whether she misses Chad, so Cat may confess that she does and add that she wishes things could be different.

Back with Marlena, she’ll head to the bookstore and sit down with the other bereavement book club members.

Julie was originally planning on hosting this meeting, but Foster (Miles Anderson) convinced her to let him take over hosting duties instead.

That way, if Julie gets too choked up, she doesn’t have to worry about keeping it together in front of everyone else.

Julie, Marlena, Maggie and even Foster will have a chance to acknowledge their lost spouses as they lean on one another for support.
